Happy Canada, my Canadian friends. Though we have our own issues here, I am so thankful to be a Canadian! Usually we would have gone out for a bike ride, had a bbq and enjoyed the outdoors. When the kids were little we would go to the big day long festivities at the lake and enjoy the fireworks at night. Unfortunately all that is down the tubes this year. We've just come off of 3 solid days of pouring rain, so everything is sopping wet. No lake festivities and no fireworks due to COVID. And our kids are grown and on their own so they can make their own celebrations. I'm planning on a nice quiet day at home with coffee and good book in hand. But at any rate, have a great one and Happy Birthday, Canada!

Happy Canada Day to you Susanne. Yes it will be one to remember but not for the right reasons. Hunkering down with a book sounds like a good plan to me.
