Amazing, amazing, amazing

Have you heard the news. Blogland came together yesterday and as of 8 a.m. central $5600.00 has been raised for Kelli to go towards her kidney transplant. PRAISE GOD! Thank you ladies for letting your heart be touched and for donating. Thank you Boomama for making a way for us to be involved. This was so exciting.

I am continually amazed at this whole community we call Blogland, or Bloggetyville. For that many people to come together and seek God and and let their hearts be touched with the trials of another blogger, one whom the vast majority of us have never met except by posts, and then to give in a tangible way just makes me feel very humbled. I have witnessed again, the heart & love of God being manifested through people and reaching out, wrapping around Kelli. It changes a person. Not only Kelli, who I am sure is totally overwhelmed with emotion this morning, but those participating and those observing. I won't be the same.

This was one of the reasons I got involved in blogging. Because I saw this coming together and support of another blogger who was facing a crisis last May. I wanted to be a part of this community. I wrote about it in my very first post. And over the 8 months I have been blogging I have seen this in one way or another, over and over. You ladies are great. I thank God that He has led me to this community and allowed me to participate.

And now that we have helped Kelli in a monetary way, let's not forget to continue to pray for her and her family as they face this road to kidney transplant.

Hey! I remember that post. I even commented on it. I guess I never stopped to think I've been with you since your very beginning.

Cool.

I posted about this yesterday myself. It really is amazing isn't it....I am in awe of the power of God and all that he does. I am so thankful and moved to tears to be connected to such an awesome community of women.

Praise God!

It's the truth! I was just over at BooMama's leaving a tear-filled comment.

It's mind boggling to me how the Lord is using BLOGGING of ALL THINGS to touch so many hearts.

I can't seem to find the right words to describe what transpired for Kelli yesterday, or what has transpired for so many so often. (including myself!)

Beyond words to describe this community of "sisters" in blogdom... truly beyond words...

I think this kind of uniting is what God longs for us to get. We all can be the good Samaritans in this world.

Now, the question is: Can we keep it going in the "normal, everyday" stream of life? I certainly pray it's a resounding YES!

Oh and this thought from your first post:

To make a long story short I'm proud to now consider her my friend. Shalee (Shalee's Thoughts), it's all your fault, you drew me in with your infectious personality and openness!

I'll gladly take the blame and cheer you on as you continue on this blogging adventure. I'm just so happy to be on it with you.

$8,335 now. Unbelievable. I now officially think of this community as a sisterhood.

I'm just as humbled by the show of concern and just simple for love for Kelli. I'm so amazed to even be a part of something this big.

The best thing of all is that Kelli can throw away the awful feeling of hopelessness she's been living with. I'm so thrilled for her. I truly cannot wait until we're sending her get well messages after her transplant.

It is as Boomama says, "Un. Be. Lievable." I love that- Don't you? The entire miracle that happened in blogland yesterday just shouts to the heavens how truly great our God is! I am so honored to be witnessing all the love and support!

It is amazing Susanne. I just love the way the Lord works. When we come together to help someone in need, He not only blesses them - He also blesses those who help. It never fails. We really cannot outgive Him.
I love this blogging stuff!!
