Jules at Everyday Mommy has a treasure hunt on at her place. Sounds like it will be fun! The idea is to recognize blog authors of excellence with deserving posts which may go unnoticed. There will be 8 catagories you can nominate a post in: Children & Family, Faith, Marriage, Motherhood, Homemaking, Humor, Current Events and Life. So your job is to hunt for that treasure of a post.
For full details head on over here and Jules will explain it all.

This soup looks great! We love soup around our house, so will definitely be trying this one.
Oh goodness that soup sounds delicious, I've been enjoying soups with this freezing weather :)
Thanks for sharing :)
I've been wanting a nice meaty soup recently - thanks!
The soup sounds great! I wish someone else in this house liked soup besides me. I guess I could make it and freeze it in small containers for myself.
Gosh I forgot all about Slow Cooking Thursday until I read your post...drat.
Thanks for the recipe!
Laura
I made ham and bean soup last night! The smell was delish and the soup? Mmmm mmmm good.
I used my slow cooker today, and I followed your lead and actually posted and linked up today--first time.
Lots of commenting problems tonight, Susanne. Apparently old blogger can't comment on new blogger and vice versa. Hope they get it fixed soon.
I'm excited about what Jules is doing here. I see wonderful posts all the time with one or even no comments and think, why on earth does no one know about this person.
I can't wait to get my nominations in. And I have some old friends out here who have done outstanding posts that should be brought into the spotlight, too. :-)
Your soup sounds wonderful, especially right now when it's just sooooo cold here.
The Treasure Hunt looks fun and the soup looks good!
Thanks for sharing with us.
You ALWAYS ALWAYS have some of the best recipes! Copying this one too!
Oh my, that soup sounds delicious! Makes me want to go out and get another ham (we had one Christmas Eve) and have the bone, just so I can make it.
Thanks for sharing! :)
Now you've got me wanting some soup!
I just wish it was a little cooler in my neck of the woods.
Sounds delicious. Thanks for the recipe.
