WFMW Help for the PMS monster

This works for me idea came to me as an idea that might be worth posting from visiting the Amazing Shrinking Mom. Someone had made a comment on this post on PMS eating binges. The comment was on calcium supplements and PMS symptoms. This is what works for me in regards to that. I take calcium supplements with 333mg elemntal calcium, 167mg emental magnesium, and 133IU vitamin D once a day. I have noticed that if I am faithful to take one per day every single day and also make sure I have my 3 servings of either milk, yogurt, cheese, or cottage cheese it greatly reduces my irratibility during PMS. I must be consistent, though.

If you want to check out more on this you can go here, and a really good place is here. But of course, the first place you should always check is with your own doctor. There is maximum amounts that a person can take before it becomes toxic and all this should be figured out by a professional for you personally.

I've got some CM in the cabinet, I think I'll give it a try.

Oh, the PMS. She is the most unwelcome guest but I can't seem to shake her. I am SO going to try this.

Thanks for the tip!

Susanne... I had no idea. I'm thinking that is going on the next Walmart list!

Usually I just eat chocolate. Of course, I'd eat it anyway. Does milk chocolate count?

Wow, I may have to start looking into that. I've been seriously meaning to look into a calcium supplement, now I have an even bigger incentive!
