Noooooooo!

Well my mother always told me to wait until the May long weekend (May 24th this year) before planting anything out.  Mother knows best.  Except maybe Mother Nature, she's pretending she's Elsa today.  Whoever made her mad, please go apologize!

The rule of thumb here is to wait until after Mother's Day. But, even celebrating her on that day doesn't always appease Mother Nature. Still keeping my fingers crossed.

Oh no! I remember in Jan Mitford's books, set in North Carolina, one of the newspaper columnists often mentioned waiting til after mid-May to plant. I always thought that was late for a Southern state, though NC does have some high elevations. But here in TN we have had some later frosts that usual this year. Hope your plants do okay!
