The south end of town was deluged.
And there was hail...
Yet again!
What is this now? The fourth time in 2 1/2 weeks? Something like that. I'm starting to lose track.
Remember this sweet plant hiding behind the chairs?
Well now it looks like this...
One lone little yellow dahlia bloom bravely trying to stand on the right.
My wonderful Youngest Daughter braved this...
to try to save the pots of flowers. My brave girl!
Unfortunately, it was too much, too hard, too fast.
This poor baby was still in plant ICU from the hail two times before.
This morning the debris line showed just how high the water came up from the street from the sewers just not being able to handle the sheer volume.
And now it's beautiful and full of sunshine again outside. I am living a world of weather extremes.

Oh dear me...that really isn't funny anymore, Susanne. Hats off to your brave daughter for trying to save the plants! I think I've said it about 4 times before but I do hope things settle down to a nice weather groove for the rest of summer!!

Ugh! Not funny indeed. Stay safe.
Ugh. Sounds the summer of mad weather for you. If you'd known, you might've skipped on those summer flowers! I hope the severe weather doesn't continue right into fall...
