What to do?

Wow, I'm experiencing an unexpected day off.  I'm in shock.  A Wednesday off, all to myself.  What to do, what to do?  My happy, lazy side wants to go for coffee, go for lunch, go shopping, go to the library, take a nap, read my book, watch a movie, take my dog and camera to the lake, do anything but work.  But it's at war with the side that is whispering that the house needs cleaning, the yard sale stuff needs some more pricing, there is painting that needs doing, curtains that need hanging and I can write my name in the dust around here.  So I'm taking a vote.  What should I do, people?  My day off agenda may ride on your say. (Probably not really, but doesn't it give you a sense of power ordering someone else's day?  LOL.)

I'm telling myself, "One day I this will happen to me." Because one day maybe it will, right!? ;)

I'm with Ellen - DO IT ALL! In a mix. ;)

I say do a mix, but certainly take lots of time for relaxing! It's not being lazy, it's a form of reviving your weary body and soul so you can conquer your next day!! Oh and I would def take the camera and dog to the lake. That is always such a simple yet fun thing to do.
Enjoy!!!!!!

Maybe half and half?

I agree, half and half. But I would start with the 'work' half because if I started with having fun, I'd never get to the productive stuff.

Having said this, I wouldn't blame you a bit if you decided to play all day:)

The advice I got when my kids were young and all consuming was: Don't do when they're asleep what you can do when they're around. In other words, if you can dust when you've got daycare kids there, don't do it now in your time alone. You have to claim it as a refreshment time for yourself. Go read your book, dream, nap...whatever refreshes you.

Do a little work. Something that's been bugging you. Then...have fun! Whatever you choose it will be wonderful!

Well, I say you should enjoy the morning and do some chores in the afternoon. However since its already 6:30 in the afternoon, my opinion doesn't matter much.
