It's Thursday already? Where on earth has this week gone? I've posted all of once. I've been so busy. But I couldn't tell you doing what. I know I've had two interviews this week for kids in the dayhome, which always adds extra cleaning, organizing, stress and getting the contracts together to my day. And yesterday some kind of a cold is trying lay ahold. And it sure has made me tired. So very, very tired. I got up not too long ago and I feel like crawling back to bed already. Blech.
Christmas is put away for another year and my laundry room did get a good cleaning. I'm still going to go through the storage in there and do some major purging. What is it about January that lends itself so well to purging junk out of our lives both in the practical sense and in the soul/spirit area too. Maybe it has to do with the winter socking us in and there is nothing really to do but stare at all the junk and turn inward looking at ourselves and where we are in life. Clutter in house and in heart/soul always makes me really antsy.
So the next few days I think I will spend time catching up on my bible reading plan, yes, I am behind already, and just going through more stuff scaling it down. And maybe, just maybe, I'll be able to catch a nap this afternoon. Now that would be a miracle. Hope to see you all tomorrow for Friday's Fave Five.

Hope you can catch that nap! Enjoy your reading and I'll see ya tomorrow!
I started this week with great plans, but I've felt like I've been spinning my wheels. I've felt like I might be coming down with something, and I miss sleeping til 7-7:30 while on vacation. Getting up at 5 causes me to need a nap in the day time, which I love, but then I don't get as much done...sigh!
Hope today and tomorrow are better for both of us!
Hi Susanne, I've been doing a bit of "cleaning out" lately too! Trying to slow myself down a bit, pick what's most important and go from there! Maybe that way I can keep from going crazy and keep my mind sane enough to write at least SOMETHING on my blog!
See you tomorrow Susanne, I hope you get your rest, almost bedtime for me !
Hope you got that nap in Susanne! i know for me, I also begin to do some of that soul purging you are speaking of....all good stuff!! and yup...i tackled my closet today and tossed alot of junk. Now if i could just get hubby to do the same :)
My fave five is written and scheduled to post at 6 a.m. Hopefully i can link up before leaving for the school in a.m. I won't be home until after 3 tomorrow....getting my hair recolored!!
Hi Susanne,
Thanks for stopping at my blog. Hope you like the soup - I haven't had anyone dislike it yet!
I'm wondering where the week went to as well.
PS - I love your header. Great shot of that little bird!
I agree with your thoughts on January. And "clutter in house and heart/soul" makes me antsy, too! I've been doing some bigtime purging as well. Wish it was as easy to clean up act as it is to clean a closet;)
I always feel that way in January. Personally I think it has something to do with a beautiful, unfilled new year just waiting for us. We can choose what is most important and cleaning out gives us a fresh start.
I feel the same way about clutter Susanne - just can't relax when I'm surrounded by it.
I do hope your get that nap in and that you'll be feeling better soon.
Sounds like you have been a busy bee.
I was just thinking the same thing today... is tomorrow already Friday?!
I, too, finally got the Christmas stuff put away. Dreaded the task but glad it's now done!
I hope you start feeling better soon!
I know just how you feel, Susanne. I'm feeling rather unprepared for the days that are zooming by.
