Iam glad to have read your review before i purchased the Julia and Julie book. Maybe I will skip the book and go right to the movie. I read all of your reviews (well most of them), Karen Kingsbury has become one of my favorite authors. The first book of hers that I read was "Between Sundays", it really touched me. Thanks for taking the time to read the books that I might be interested in.
Oh I'm so glad to hear you say that you weren't a huge fan of it. I've been trying to get into it for days but just can't. It sits on my nightstand just staring at me. I couldn't quite figure out what it was about it but I think you just nailed in on the head for me.
You know, when my mom and Bev were here we all went to see this movie. I loved the movie so much I may even buy it now that it's out on DVD. But.
I researched this on the web because I really wanted to read the book. I even went to Julie's blog. One peek at her blog and I wasn't surprised when I read on the web that she has a filthy mouth and the movie would have had a much more restrictive rating if they'd used her language in it.
So now way am I reading that book. But the movie was simply wonderful.
