This moving one's child away from one's self is proving to be a very hard thing for me.
Is there no universal law that says, "Thou shalt not move more than 2 hours away from the one who carried you for 9 months and then went through birthing you into this world, the one who raised you and clothed you and spent mega bucks on your school basbetball career, who followed you hither and yon to practices and games, the one who's cooked and cleaned for you and washed those smelly basketball clothes for years for you? The one who read you "Bears in Pairs" until her eyes crossed, who monitored your computer time, who ran to the drugstore after one was already in their jammies because you developed a fever, who wrung their hands while you were getting tubes in your ears? The one who cried because she felt so blessed to have been given the gift of such a beautiful baby, the one who danced in the living room with you? The one who cheered at all your accomplishments and cried with you in the disappointments?"
Is there no universal law like that anywhere?
Well, if there is not, then there should be!
