Word for the Weekend

Photo Credit: Maciej Lewandowski, UK

"Therefore I tell you,

do not worry about your life,

what you will eat or drink;

or about your body, what you will wear.

Is not life more important than food,

and the body more important than clothes?

Look at the birds of the air;

they do not sow or reap or store away in barns,

and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.

Are you not much more valuable than they?

But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness,

and all these things will be given to you as well."

Matthew 6 : 25 - 26, 33 NIV

What a great scripture. I was stopping by to say hello, and I'm back to blog reading now. Little Wiseman is 10 days old now...*sigh* So little sleep....

My arms feel like they're going to fall off - too much painting for me. :0)

Love these verses. I always need a reminder not to worry. Which is much easier to do when I remember that He knows what I need.
