Word for the Weekend

Photo Credit: Christoper Potter, Australia

"One thing I have asked from the Lord,
that I shall seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the Lord
And to meditate in His temple.

For in the day of trouble
He will conceal me in His tabernacle;
In the secret place of His tent He will hide me;
He will lift me up on a rock.

And now my head will be lifted up
above my enemies around me,
And I will offer in His tent sacrifices
with shouts of joy;
I will sing, yes, I wll sing praises to the Lord."

Psalm 27: 4-6 NAS Bible

Wonderful piece of scripture. It's also the basis for one of my most favourite songs. Blessings.

One of my favorites...the cry of my heart is to be a "one thing" woman, living my life pursuing Him and Him alone...

I've always loved this passage. It's such a beautiful reminder that we can sing praises to God no matter what because He WILL deliver us!

One of my favorite psalms!

Susanne, we don't 'know' each other, but everytime I see a post from you on another blog, I know I'll be blessed by your words!
