It's a bit of a nutty week with stuff that happened on the weekend. Along with my own cooking I'm trying to get some meals together for my sis. And I'm using stuff from her freezer for her, so I'm sorta double cooking. I'll try and stick to the menu but it's pretty much flying by the seat of my pants this week.
MONDAY: Crockpot BBQ pork chops, buttered savory rice, mixed veggies
TUESDAY: Ham and Scalloped potaoto casserole
WEDNESDAY: Crockpot roast beef and barley, cucumber salad
THURSDAY: Chicken drums with homemade shake and bake, mashed potatoes, peas
FRIDAY: some kind of pasta dish
SATURDAY: Scrounge day
SUNDAY: BBQ'd steak, baked potatoes

Your brother-in-law has been on my mind all weekend and I'm anxiously waiting for an update on his prognosis.
All I can say, is thank goodness your back is behaving! With a house full of toddlers and the way you're helping your sister, my word, you're busy, Susanne. Wish I could run over there and help you out.
I was thinking about your brother-in-law too. We have a crazy week ourselves so my menu isn't very exciting today!
Have a great Monday!
You are a very good sister. My pastor's wife is an awesome big sister to her little sis - great example.
So....it's going to be warm enough to barbeque on Saturday???? I hope so.
So now I'm hungry. Here via Beck...
Oh you will certainly have a busy week. I'm sure it is comforting for you to know you can help in this way.
What a wonderful sister you are,
Laura
You are a good sister! Hope the week goes ok for you.
Do you do the roast and barley together in the crockpot?
Busy, busy. You're a fantastic person to be helping out. Kudos.
