In the Hood, Motherhood, that is

Now this looks like fun! In the Motherhood is By Moms, For Moms, About Moms. A webisode series, it stars Leah Rimini and their scripts will actually come from stories that real moms, like you and me, submit to them.

Participating is easy – moms literally write out their story in paragraph form and with a few mouse clicks, the story is automatically transformed into a traditional Hollywood script. The online mom community will vote and nominate the best entries, which will then be polished and incorporated into the series of webisodes.

Are you a visual person? Well then watch this to get the idea:

You can visit inthemotherhood.com for the webisodes, information, blogs, games, music, and forums to connect with other moms.

The In the Motherhood web community will launch on MSN April 17 and run through June. The first webisode will air on the Ellen DeGeneres Show on May 11 and subsequent webisodes will air on May 22, May 29, June 5 and June 12.

Go check it out. Maybe we'll be watching your story on Ellen.

Doesn't that sound like fun? Maybe inspiration will strike while I'm away this weekend.

Oh my word, can you imagine the contributions my niece Sarah could submit? LOL

And can you imagine if your kid actually did that in a toilet at Home Depot? I'm falling out of my chair here, Susanne. Hysterical.

I think this is a great idea, although the actress is a little flaky (Tom Cruise religion). I know, that's mean. She's very talented and cute, good comedic timing. But once celebrities tell what they're all about, it's hard to separate that out. I will like to see what happens with this.
