Great list, Susanne! Can't believe you need to cut to 4 cups/day -- I'd be so wired if I even drank four cups of coffee a day. Good luck on the cut backs!

Okay, I'm tired just from reading about all of your plans. The mere THOUGHT of painting makes me want to take a nap.

And WOW, you might want to consider some caffeine soap I recently read about...it just absorbs through your pores while you're in the shower (no, really!) I only do TEA, and DECAF.

But I'm with you on the walking part. I walk 2 1/2 miles most every day, and I absolutely LOVE it! I've been walking for 20 years but still somehow I'm in Florida...LOL

Susanne what a wonderful list! I think you will totally be able to accomplish this list...it is a great idea to have them all listed like that and if you don't mind I'm going to copy you and do that today too.

We got Bunco for Christmas and really enjoy it. Very fun (and easy)!

Peach: I know. Crazy, isn't it?

Julie: The painting one was hard to list because now I feel accountalbe, but it really, really needs doing.

Laura: go for it. I'm coming over to read it right now!

Great list. Very ambitious and diverse but certainly do-able. Looks like you're going to have a good year. (Glad you threw in #13!)

Loved your list--great goals for the year. I also loved the Life Journal Chris told us about.

WHOA--caffeine. Lots. I can't imagine what I'd be like if I drank that much in one day. It's all a tolerance thing, I know. But you have lots of good goals, and now I feel like a slacker. You can do it!

Lol, I have been forced to give up coffee since I was sick I haven't fancied a cup, it's been 2 weeks now! And I love coffee, I'm sure I'll be back to drinking once I on top form.

Yey for a book list, I love my list, although it keeps getting longer!

The minute I pulled this post up, my first thought was, "It's Thursday? Already?" Sigh....

Bunco is easy peasy. Honestly, when I was apprehensive about playing with my daughter's group, as a sub, the first time, she told me, "Mom. Bunco is a no-brainer." And she was right. But boy, is it fun.

Honestly, how did Thursday get here so fast!

Susanne,
Great list! The life journal has been such a wonderful tool. It has been extremely successful in two ways:
1) I am doing it for life.. I don't get discouraged when I miss reading. In fact, some days I may be reading in another portion of scripture and I chose to journal this instead.
2)Using the acrostic S.O.A.P. is simple and yet forces me to ask God what he is speaking to me through His words.

I love to go back through my journals and read. The reading plan is the same each year and I am always amazed at what scripture I may have chose to journal on last year is totally different the next. It is also a place that I can go to share with others. I was once asked to do a devotional with a group of ladies at the last minute and my Life Journal provided lots of options.

I would love to hear how it works for you.

It's all good, save for the coffee thing. That's blasphemous!

And I know how to play Bunko. It's fun!

I think you have an awesome list to work on. I definitely need to walk/jog. I love doing it when it is warm outside, but I haven't done it once since November. Let us know how you are doing throughout the months on this and maybe I'll start a list once the kids return to school-4 more days(not that I'm counting). He He!

Me again, didn't get to do my list today but I still might do it at some point since I have plenty of things I want to acommplish!

Great list - I drink 3 cups and have no intention of cutting back! I'm also impressed with your choice of book, hope you have a few fun ones on there too. I started wearing a pedometer two days ago, after reading a post by Boomama - great incentive to see the steps add up.

Great list! I hope you can accomplish all of it. I need to cut back on my coffee,too...but I do not drink as much as you...one- 1 1/2 cups in the morning and either a cup of coffee or tea in the afternoon. Even that little amount can interfere with going to bed early...see I am up too late right now!

You will love bunco. I learned last year. It is so much fun. The more people, the better. Silly prizes are always fun.

Great list. I definitely need to steel some of your ideas. Reading and walking are things I need to add to my own list. I think 30 books a year is doable and so is 2-3 miles per day.

Ohhhhh it was this one I commented on, I think I'm losing my mind, lol!

Laura said...

Okay now I've done it...better late than never right??
Have a great day!
