What a nice surprise!

Look what I found when December's issue of the CWO magazine came online today! What a lovely surprise! I need to go tell Susie right away. Because although I might have picked the pictures and scripture she totally designed everything around it. So this nomination is hers! Thank you Susie! And thank you to everyone who nominated me. It thrills me to know you enjoy my "humble abode".

And speaking of Susie at Bluebird Blogs did you know she has some new services to offer you? She has a maid service, a grab bag and complete customizing. Go here to check it all out.

To see all the wonderful blogs that were nominated in different catagories go on over here and then don't forget to visit them and then vote for the ones you think should win the award for their catagory.

Congratulations, Susanne. No surprise here. I've always loved your design. I agree Susie deserves a lot of credit - she does amazing work. But if you're the one who chose that girl in your profile, then I'm giving you a big chunk of the credit. She's one of my favorite characters out here!

And you do have a lovely blog! My favorite part of your blog, like Barb, is the smily girl on the right - she's so cute!

Congrats to you AND Susie. She is awesome.
Also, we have this Little People Nativity. It is a gem and a really good baby gift. Safe for the little ones and it isn't breakable. So they can actually play with it. AND it plays music. How cool is that?

How exciting for you. I have always loved your design, but more than that, all the wonderful things you write each day. Congrats for the nomination. From Susie(not bluebird Susie) Oh, I wonder if she would give me a discount since we spell our names the same.

I came upon your blog by accident looking for "shouting for joy" for my Sunday School lesson. I found a clip from a hockey game. Now I can't find it. Could you direct me there?

Hi Sally:

Certainly I can! That was the Edmonton Oilers/Anaheim Might Ducks 2006 playoff game in Edmonton at the Rexal stadium. The crowd was singing so loud that the singer just held up the mike and quit singing himself. It was totally spontaneous and then went on to be done for the rest of the playoffs. Other cities tried to copy it after that but no one ever quite did it like the Edmonton fans.

Here is the link to that specific post:

If you want to go straight to Youtube here is the link:

You'll have to copy and paste them because I'm not sure how to hotlink in the comments.

Blessings,
Susanne
