Thursday Thirteen~Ultimately Relaxed

13 THINGS I LOVE TO DO TO RELAX

1. A great cup of specialty coffee (current favorite: Valencia Orange mocha)

2. Sitting with hubby or a friend and sharing great conversation with the above.

3. A fireplace on. Any kind, even electric.

4. Lighting the candles on my mantle and turning down most lights.

5. A great fiction novel.

6. A long hot bath. In Jacuzzi type tub.

7. With said novel. Bonus.

8. Add a hot mint tea with honey. Heaven.

9. Walking through crunchy fall leaves.

10. Snapping bubble wrap.

11. Dinner out.

12. Hanging out at Chapters or a good Christian book store.

13. Could I actually leave blogging off the list? I think not. :v)

I can totally relate to all of these, except maybe the bubble wrap!!!! ;) Though maybe if I gave it a go, I might find it relaxing!! I'm off to make myself a cup of coffee now.

Great list, and I'm right with you on many of them. Especially the bath and book combo! :)

I'm right there with you on the fireplace thing. I LOVE fireplaces and dearly wish we had one. But, candles suffice around here.

And Bubblewrap? We wrestle in our house over who gets to pop it!

Cute post!

I'm with you on the bath and book, big time! In our Coeur d'Alene, Idaho (second) home, we--well, make that *I*--have a jacuzzi sunken tub that's huge. That's where I read many nights, and it's one of my favorite things about staying in that home. (Although I have many fave things about that place.) My husband says, "Don't you get tired of WORDS? You've been writing them all day, now you read them to relax?" Well ... yeah.

Another list that I completely can appreciate.

I don't know what it is with me and reading lately. I'm just not wanting to do it. It's my reading funk. Sigh. I know it will return soon enough - and with a passion!

Oh, these could all have been mine, too!
Except, believe it or not, going out to dinner...I know, weird...I like to go out to dinner, don't get me wrong! But usually not my best relaxation.

Other than that, the rest sound like bliss! :)

Snapping bubble wrap made me laugh. I like to do that, too. Then I think about how I wasted perfectly good shipping material.

:-)

I sure agree with all of these, especially the fireplace. We don't have one. Thank goodness or I'd have it going year round and I'd never get anything at all done around here! What a nice comfy list.

Now this is a GREAT list. I would need to adapt the drinks a little - maybe hot chocolate - but otherwise we're on the same page!
