Whew, it has been a week. So busy with all sorts of commitments. It's a good thing we have this little space that reminds us to slow down, take a breath, pause and look for blessings from the past week. Having a busy week like I did, it's so easy for me not to even take note. The blessings become a blur as I'm rushing onto the next thing. Which starts me seeing more of the negative than I do the blessings. The older I get the more I see how important being intentionally thankful is. Please join us by sharing your favorite 5 blessings from the week.
~ birthday celebrations ~ Friday we celebrated my sis in law's bday. We had a wonderful evening at our favorite Italian restaurant. Great meal, great conversation and the opportunity to celebrate a special lady.
~ leading study ~ this week I was asked to lead the lady's study I am a part of. I was a bit nervous, as it's been about 4 years since I stopped leading a study group. But all went well, we had some great conversation with everyone participating. I'm thankful that I was able to get out of my rut with the opportunity. It made me realize how much I missed having a group of my own.
~ new show ~ well now that Monk is no longer available on the streaming channel we have, Hubby and I needed to find something else we could watch together. We found House of David on another streaming service we have and have been enjoying the episodes so far.
~ body butter ~ my hands have been so dry lately, especially the knuckles. Probably something to do with the 1000 times a day I have to wash my hands while working with preschoolers. I found a nicely scented body butter that seems to be doing the trick to soothe it.
~ ice cream ~ had to make my list this month as my favorite local small batch ice cream shop had two great feature flavors this month: Chocolate dipped strawberry and Grasshopper Pie. Oh my, both were so delicious! Made even sweeter with the purchase paid for by a gift card I received for Christmas.
What were you're favorite blessings from your week?

OOH I love me a good body butter. I'm using Satsume scent (pure orange) from Body Shop. I have 2 jars left and am gonna be so sad when both are gone (usually a jar lasts me 18 months) because they are no longer available in the US or Canada. And they won't ship from Europe. I checked out your link and never heard of them BUT I'm going to see if they have any I like...that raspberry manuka honey looks like one i'd like. I'm choosy about ingredients so I need to check them out further. Thanks for the link!
I'm almost done with a series I enjoy and Dave and I are waiting for the new season of one we watch together. Of course with better weather coming my viewing time will be less as I'll be outdoors more. That series you've started looks good...which streaming service is it on?
Yummy ice cream! Dave surprised me with Belgian chocolate gelato last night. We hadn't had gelato since 2017 when we were in Rome!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend
Your first paragraph is where I find myself many weeks. I'm so thankful FFF makes me pause and reflect--otherwise, I'd overlook or forget about so much.
The birthday celebration sounds fun. Yay for stepping out and leading a study!
We're watching House of David, too. I've been dismayed with some of the "creative liberties" they've taken, but otherwise we're enjoying it.
Sounds like some sweet times amidst the chaos. Those ice cream flavors sound delicious. Happy Spring to you!
Hi Susanne. I am glad your week was good, even though it was busy. I think we will have to look for that show House of David. I'm glad you enjoyed leading the Bible study group. Have a good weekend. See you again soon!
I like to make my own body butter with coconut oil and essential oils. I will have to see the House of David. We plan to see the Chosen next week at the movies.
Thank you for correcting whatever I did wrong with my link!
I have yet to begin using the body butter I got while I was in Florida. I need to put it on my dresser to remind me!
I am a sucker for good ice cream and those flavors sound wonderful!
Have a great weekend.
