This is a really busy week for me. I have it off so in a nice sense I can sleep in a bit and my days can drift. But on the other hand, I have a million things to do. Appointments take over this week. And it is also the last week before we move my Youngest too bible school. So it's filled with all sorts of lists and shopping and packing and last minute details that keep cropping up. To say nothing of emotions to deal with! So all that to say I might be missing in action quite a bit this week.
I do have a couple of book reviews that need getting to before I forget what they were about and how I felt and what I thought when reading them. And I really want to do a book meme I saw at Barbara's. Memes have really gone by the wayside in this generation of blogging, but when I first started there were a bazillion of them floating around. I really miss them in a way. They were the way we got to know each other and found things in common. It was more a "friendship" aspect of blogging. It got us to click on other's links and we found all sorts of new and interesting blogs and people out there through this medium. Anyway, I really want to do this one. So I may or may not get it up this week, but eventually I will. I am determined!
What about you guys, do you miss the bygone days of the friendly meme?

I do miss the occasional meme. I'm not sure why they kind of fell off. Maybe we will revive them, LOL!
This does sound like a busy rather than a restful week, but then, it's good you were able to get off for it.
I scheduled a bunch of appointments for us at the beginning of the summer and then when they all came due thought, "Wait a minute, where did my restful summer go?" It helps the daily schedule to schedule them during time off, but then they can eat up that off time.
Praying for you with all the emotions going on this week.
I miss the ladies who have dropped out of blogging due to using Facebook. I'm not on there, so we don't connect anymore.
I'll be thinking of you as you prepare to send your daughter off to school. Lots of emotions, for sure.
Good luck. I'll be thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers. I do miss that aspect of blogging. I'm afraid I tend to turn more and more to Facebook, the time's coming when I have to decide whether or not I'm going to maintain my blog.
Anyway, good luck this week. I know it will be emotionally challenging.
I'm thinking of you Susanne and the whole taking your youngest to college thing! hugs....
and yup, I kind of miss those memes...some of them...I'll check the link out and maybe I'll do them too! my reading has slowed down this week due to training workshops and doc appts. UGH....hope we have a good weekend!!
