Friday's Fave Five#159

Friday's Fave Day!  Welcome to looking back over the week and finding things that have blessed your life, big or small.  It's been a busy week for me but that doesn't mean there weren't blessings to be found.  So here we go with my favorites from the week, in no particular order:

1.  Hugs from little arms.  What a pick me up to have a little day home person wrap their little preschool arms around my neck.  That's what makes my job worthwhile.

2.  Fall scented candles in a cute fall themed holder.  My favorite scent is "Leaves" from Slatkin & Co.  though why it's called Leaves I'm not sure as my whole family thinks it smells like apples.  :v)  So you know I had to look it up and here's what the Bath & Body Works website says:  "Autumnal notes of golden nectar, juicy mandarin and red delicious apple are paired with toasted cinnamon stick, mulled cider spices and freshly harvested red berries."   Whatever it is, it's awesome.  And you can smell it even when it's not burning.  An awesome candle.

3.  A spur of the moment trip to my oldest daughter.  A crazy long drive for one short weekend, but it was fun.  The weather was gorgeous.

4.  Peach-blueberry pie.  Oh my goodness.  I could have sat and eaten the whole thing by myself.  But I was a good girl and shared.

5.  I just can't not put this picture in my faves cause it makes me smile.  Tell me what pet isn't cute as all get out when they squish themselves into something that looks too small and promptly go straight to sleep.

What have your favorite blessings been this week?  What has uplifted you, made you smile, took you mind off your struggles if even for a moment?  Share in a post and link on up so that we can come and visit you.  If you don't have a blog feel free to answer in the comments.  Guidelines are here if you've never read them.

Hugs from little ones are the best -- so glad you get some all the time! It's great that you're enjoying scents of autumn indoors, too! Love that shot of your adoraboy.

I just got a pumpkin spice candle. It's fantastic, but yours sounds better. ;)

I'm glad you had a nice getaway, and got to enjoy your daughter and some nice weather.

Hooray for hugs, and sweet children who give them, and yummy pies, and our silly pets. (my cats are always sleeping in strange places!)

Thank you for FFF!

Hugs and visits with oldest daughters were some of my blessings this week too. Love that candle. Wish I could smell it. And the dog pic--too cute!

I was sad that The Sing-Off sent away Messiah's Men this week. But there are a couple of groups that really sounded great. Can't wait until next week!

Your temps are making me cold just thinking about it. Brrr. But we're actually supposed to get down to the low 40s F this weekend all the way down in Alabama. Too cold too quick! Thankfully it won't last.

That candle sounds like something I would love. I'm all excited that it is finally cool enough to burn candles!

Impromptu trips are often the most fun!

I got out my Fall candles yesterday but couldn't find one match or lighter. I will buy some later today for sure. Your bath & Body works candle sounds great. I will check it out next time I am in their store.

Hugs from little ones are always a treat. Their innocence and genuine love just pores through their hugs.

It's awesome that you were bale to make a fun memory with your daughter. I need to do something like that soon with mine.

Hugs from little arms are one of life's greatest joys! You must be a great caregiver to recieve those rewards.

Nice that you got to go visit your girl! It was a perfect weekend for a roadtrip! I'm lovin' this 'Indian Summer'!
