But MIL is out of ICU and settled into a regular hospital room and a sort of routine is forming to the days for now. Hopefully, I'll get a good night's sleep and get recharged. If only our goofy little puppy didn't think that 5 a.m. is the time to start the day.

Hellllllo out there!
It seems like I have been away from this little blog o' mine forever and yet looking back it's only been about 5 days. But it has been 5 very, very long days. Last week my dear Mom-in-law had a major stroke. To say that life took a busy, stressful turn is an understatement. Between the hospital, decisions, work, the whole plane trip thing with my son that I mentioned last week, a new rambunctious puppy and everyday life my whole mind and self just seems to have cried "time out". When I had a chance to get on the computer, I just didn't have the energy to put two sentences together to form a thought. Truth be told, I still don't. It's amazing how when something major happens, everything else takes a back seat and all thoughts and energy goes towards what needs dealing with.

Wow, what a week. So sorry about you MIL but glad she has had improvement. Hope things slow down some for you.
I'll continue to pray for your MIL. Good to know she's out of ICU.
I'm so sorry to hear about your MIL. It does sound like your life has been turned upside down this week. Hopefully, this is the beginning of getting it turned right side up again.
Those pesky puppies! What would we do without them?
Sending prayers your way, Susanne.
I'm glad your MIL is doing better. I hope you're finding some time to take care of yourself too.
Have you had to keep working with everything going on? I worry so much about something happening to my mom and dad, not only because I don't want anything to happen to them, of course, but also because I have no idea how I would handle it with my home daycare. It's hard to just take time off.
Hang in there.
Jeepers Susanne. That is a rough week, hope you MIL continues to improve..
So sorry to hear about your MIL. I hope she feels good and recovers quickly.
So sorry to hear about your mother in law. Hope she feels better soon!
Praying for you. Been there, done that, and it's no fun at all. Don't hesitate to ask your church for help! Those meals are a godsend...
Good to hear that your MIL is out of ICU. I'm glad things are returning to a little bit of normal for you all...
Sounds like your MIL is doing remarably well, to be moved to a regular room so quickly. My MIL had a stroke on December 3 and remained in the hospital until December 30. She is now living with us because it left her legally blind. But we are believing that her vision will be restored.
I'm so sorry Susanne. I know how exhausting it is. I'll be praying for grace and strength for all of you and for you MIL.
Sorry about your mother in law. I'll be praying for her.
I'm sorry, too, to hear about your MIL's stroke. Amazing things can be done with stroke patients and I'm praying whe will fully recover.
My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family.
Will be praying for your MIL!

I'm so sorry to hear about your m-i-l! Praying for her healing. It's good that she no longer needs ICU.
I totally hear you...If you only knew what I went through over my past six months...Thanks for sharing...but it's surprising how our emotions effect how we feel right here in blogland.
Looking forward to you coming back..
Take your time.
