They Have Arrived

Well, it isn't a dog sled. Although they do line up all in a row.

Or a St. Bernard. No little keg around it's neck.

But the Calvary has arrived!

Also known as the grater and the snow plow.

Aren't they a sight to behold! I wonder if they could do something about that pile by my deck?

Now we just need to wait for the trucks that will pick up the 3 1/2 - 4 foot pile of snow running down the middle of the road.

Maybe tomorrow.

And if you're not sure why the sight of these machines make me do the happy dance, read this morning's post below.

These last two posts bring back memories of our time in upstate NY. I can remember looking out the window waiting for the dear man who plowed out our long driveway. Until then there was no going anywhere!
I'm glad rescue is in sight.

I'm glad you can get out but it still looks very, very cold!

Oh gosh how we should never take the snowblower and grater for granted. Towns would definitely be buried without them :)

I might be coming to Alberta next week with hubbie for a job interview in Whitecourt. Have you heard anything about the place?

It's hard to believe the harshness of the storm and the next morning the sun blazes down on the snow and a new path is charted.
I can see you are quite eager to get out again.
It's cold out here also...

I know you said the snow wasn't blowing all over thank goodness...so that's how they plow snow huh? I don't think there is one of those in Honolulu...LOL....well maybe one. Beautiful shots.

WOW... you speak Hungarian? I've never known anyone or heard Hungarian spoken (as far as I know!).
I also love that your daughter was brought to you in a stocking. What a very nice thing. You are a great mom to think of making sure she had a separate birthday celebration.
Blessings!
