Sigh.

Oy. I just lost my bid for the Mother of the Year award. My son just wore wet pants, wet uniform shirt and wet apron to work because his mother got distracted, misplaced her brain and forgot to put his work clothes into the dryer.

But he gets the Son of the year award because he laughed about it, said it was allright because it would dry fast in the hot kitchen at work and forgave me. As he walked out the door to work in wet clothes.

Sigh. I'm so glad it's Friday and my week of insanity is over. Now I think I need to go bake him something!

I did the same thing one time with a baseball uniform. He had to wear it wet, it was a hot day so I told him it would feel good and he would play better! Ha Ha! :)
Sounds like he had a good heart about the whole thing. :)

Rofl! Yup, Son of the year award he gets!
I lost the "cook of the year" award last night when I burned the toasted sandwiches. They were as black as my keyboard! My husband said I should take pictures and blog about it! It would make my blogger friends feel much more comfortable he said! ROFL! Misplacing our brains happens to all of us.

You washed his uniform for him. that makes you a great mom. And, you raised a grateful, forgiving kid with a great sense of humor. that makes you a great mom too.

There have been times I forgot to wash my son's work clothes completely, so at least you're one better than me. :-) And the fact that he had such a good attitude about it says you did some pretty good mothering.

Have a relaxing weekend!

Sorry, Susanne, but I had to chuckle at the picture you painted. What an awesome kid to just laugh about it! You are blessed! At least it is hot outside, and not 20 below!

You need to do something special for that kid. His response was amazing.

And at least you were in the running for Mother of the Year. I wasn't even nominated! LOL!

Oh Susanne - I am smiling in complete understanding. I'm just thankful my head is actually attached these days.
He is a sweet boy and I do think something sweet and homemade is in order.
Rest and relax!!

I don't think anyone can be truly nominated for Mom of the Year until she's had a few moments like this under her belt!
