Sad, sad, sad. Just take a look at these two pictures.

Aren't they two of the saddest looking pictures you've ever seen?

Breaks your heart doesn't it? But that is all that is left of my mini eggs. A paltry little handful.

It's probably a good thing though, as Linda from Second Cup of Coffee as kicked the 30x5 challenge into another phase. It's now the 30x5-100. I don't have the heart to tell her I'm horrible at math. Anyway, we're now to knock out a hundred calories a day. Along with continueing to move 30 minutes a day for 5 days a week. Got all that? And according to the little chart she linked us to, 10 M&M's are a hundred calories so I can only assume that these are about the same. I don't even want to hazard a guess as to what a little basket filled 3/4 full would be. So good bye little eggies for another year. It was great while you lasted.

Our weekend was very full and fun, full of feasting and fattening and there was a bit of frightening in there, too. And throw in an amazing gift straight from God just to please us. I'll tell more later. But today, another sad thing. We have to take the girl to the bus depot and put her on the bus that will take her 8 hours away again. Sigh. I'll never get used to this!

And I don't even get to drown my sorrow in eggies.

I think you should drown your sorrow however you feel like drowning and start the challenge tomorrow. It's awful, taking our daughters to buses and trains. As you know, I did it Saturday morning. I've already talked to her and she's back home safe and sound, but I also already miss her. I spent all of yesterday wishing she were sitting on my sofa talking with me. Sigh.

We'll never get used to it.

I was talking to mine in India and Sat and we got cut off - not a good feeling.

sigh

If you're not going to eat those sorrow-easing eggies, perhaps you'd like to send them my way? :)

"on Saturday" I mean.

Gosh those eggs are good and addictive aren't they. Yum, yum!

I know today will be hard, I'll be thinking of you.

That Linda is getting mean. She wants us to exercise and eat better. I liked her better when she was all hopped up on Blue Bunny ice cream. ;-)

I'm in, however.

(and if you read this Linda, know I'm just joking and I Ken Lee ya!)

I'm glad you're in. And you know what? Dropping off/saying goodbye does get a little easier. It does. I wouldn't lie to ya. Remember, I'm the one who was honest about how it really is in the beginning.

Your eggies will have good company with my half-full bags of wilton candy melts. :( Sniff.

My sister in law had SO much easter candy out yesterday, but it was fun. . . for a day. The only thing left at my house is jelly beans!

All our goodies were chocolate...and they're going fast! If I had to take one of my kids to a bus depot I think I'd be drowning my sorrows in the rest of the chocolate.

Sounds like an interesting weekend! I'm looking forward to hearing more about it.

I dearly love Cadbury mini eggs but evidently so does everyone else as I was unable to find any beyond the first bag I bought many weeks ago! Sad, sad, sad indeed...
