Outside my window...it's grey, and cloudy and cold. I'm just glad I didn't see snow outside my window like the people in Canmore, AB did yesterday!
I am thinking...I've got so much to do right now, what on earth am I doing on the computer! :vD
I am thankful for... that we got Kay settled in nicely in her new apartment for school and that the rest of got home safe and sound.
From the kitchen... I'm thinking of making meatloaf stuffed with tomatoes and parmesan cheese. It will be something special for sandwiches tomorrow for the kids' first day back to school and hubby's first day of his new job!
I am wearing...comfy old green lounging pants, a green striped sweater and socks. Yes, socks! Already!
I am creating...a care package to send to Kay. Some toiletries she forgot, a favorite DVD of hers I found for a steal, some pics, and a couple packages of Knorr cream of carrot soup.
I am going...to get properly dressed and go to the post office to mail it.
I am reading... "The Canopy" by Angela Hunt. Still. I didn't get much read last week with the big move.
I am hoping... that my kids have a great school year with friends in their classes and teacher's suited to them. That my hubby learns the ins and outs of the his new job with relative ease and that he enjoys it.
I am hearing... the gurgle of the fish tank
Around the house... carpets will get shampooed today and tomorrow, dayhome playroom and craftroom will be purged and cleaned out ready to go again for fall starting on Wednesday!
One of my favorite things...looking at the kid's baby pictures with them.
A few plans for the rest of the week... do a post on the move, paint the closet door, organize my books, pay some bills (oy, I really don't want to face that), phone the phone company.
Here's a picture thought I'm sharing...

I'm glad to hear that Kay is settled nicely. A relief for you I'm sure. She will really enjoy getting her care package! You're a good mom!
I loved reading this Susanne, but not socks yet...I keep wearing my croc flip flops hoping the warm weather will stick around for a few more weeks.
"The Canopy" is a wonderful book!
I'm nowhere near socks yet -- it's still very hot and humid here.
I am glad Kay is settled in nicely.
One of my all-time favorite lunches is leftover meatloaf sandwiches!
The care packages are fun. I think they're more fun for Mom than for the kid.
