Those trucks are so big, it's hard to believe it until you put them in perspective. When I lived in IL I drove by a number of strip mining places and saw a lot of these. Their size reminds me of monster trucks. :)
I saw equipment like this in Illinois too when Bev's husband was mine superintendent at one of the strip mines there. We have photos of our whole family standing in the bucket of one of them and we look like ants. Hard to believe machinery that big even moves, but it does.
Actually, if I had that truck to drive, I might get over my fear of driving. I'm sure I'd have control of the road!
That's hilarious. How about you and I do a little cruisin around in that baby. We could get a bunch of blogger friends and head out on a Thelma and Louise type adventure!!!!!!! Oh my, I got a bit carried away there.....FUN pic!
