We have success! Look at these beauties! I am absolutely giddy with excitement! Barb and Beck will be so proud of me!
But unlike when they turn out in broken crumbles or very brown crispy discs, the only downside is that when they do turnout, I can't. stop. eating. them. Which is a whole other problem in and of itself. And now, if I could just figure out what I did right this time. Sigh.

Oh wow, those look awesome! I'd be digging in regularly, I'm afraid :)
I made pb cookies, then made Barb's recipe for pb cookies and they were so much better! I think the half shortening, half butter made the difference on mine (first recipe was all butter, no shortening). Then again, the slightly undercooking thing might be it!
Enjoy those, eat one for me!
They do look yummy. We like the undercooked variety of cookies at my house. Some even make it from the dough to the oven :0)
Looking marvelous, Susanne. Did you use the Butler's Wife's recipe, too, or just the undercooking of the Toll House made these so wonderful?
Congrats! This from another baking challenged friend : )
Oh YUM!
Being the friend that I am I would be happy to help you with your problem of not being able to stop eating them. I'll be right over and eat some with you. ;-)
*sigh*...If only it were that simple!
SUSANNE! THOSE LOOK DELICIOUS!
Good work! Your kids must be DELIGHTED.
They look delish!
That looks sooo yummy:)! And your bus adventure with your kids sounded soo fun. Great job making the effort to do that!
Have a good week.
I keep begging hubs to make me some cookies like he used to make when we were dating. Then you go and post this picture.
He'd better start baking soon. :>) Those look YUMMY!!
So what was the secret to your success?
(Oh those look delish!)
Oh yum! I'd love to have one...but of course I could never eat just one!
Oh, YUM! And that's about a typical batch for me, since I eat all of the dough before they make it into the oven, LOL.
WOW...gorgeous! I wanna sink my teeth into one right now...it's too humid here today for me to bake....
Yummy... I'll be right over!
Actually, I love crispy cookies, so I would have been all over those peanut butter gems!
I used to love to make chocolate chip cookies from scratch. I haven't done it in years.
They're gorgeous, Susanne. I have a cookie jar of cookies that look exactly like those. Good job!
I don't even like chocolate, but I take six of these chocolate chip cookies to bed with me at night and eat them while I read. They're that good, huh.
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YUM!! did you share the recipe????
