Remember this on Thursday?

Well, welcome to Saturday!

I told you to wait a minute if you didn't like the weather. We are under a snowfall warning right now with snow forecast until Tuesday. You gotta love Southern Alberta! It's not "April Showers bring May Flowers" around here. More like "April Snowfall brings May flowers, if it doesn't freeze it first".

In lieu of the fun weather we are having, it's definitely warm, comforting food for supper tonight. I had grilled smokies on the menu for tonight, (isn't that ironic?) but I'm switching it up to Tia's request: Cheeseburger Soup with some hot garlic bread from the oven.

And now I need something fun to do to make me happy. Hmm, let's see. I know I'll give an CD away. How's that for fun.

Seriously, I just got this in the mail yesterday and I have been playing it constantly. Steven Curtis Chapman's music has always been so uplifting to me and this new CD, " This Moment" is no exception. The beautiful song, "Cinderella" is featured on this album. Brings tears to my eyes every time. If you'd like to watch the video you can go HERE for that. There is also all sorts of links you can peruse once there. Steven is also a wonderful spokesperson for adoption. To hear his heart on adoption you can watch him HERE.

I am so glad that EMI has provided me with a CD to give away to one of my readers. If you'd like to have this CD, leave me a comment telling me your area's weather this weekend. I'll draw for the CD using a random number generator on Tuesday morning.

It's sunny, a little windy and 71 degrees here now! A beautiful day.
I hope it warms up soon there.

I hesitate to type this, but it is 79 degrees right now, with a high of 84. What am I doing on the computer? I'm off to go enjoy! PS I would love a chance at that cd. Thanks!

Is it wrong of me to say he he he he!! Okay definitely wrong but I've still got so much snow in my backyard and you know what they say about misery....it loves company LOL

Today I see sun shining though but it's so so very cold that I don't think it's going to help with the snow melting :(

We're having delightfully beautiful spring weather today, and I have been able to open the windows for the first time. I just love seeing the breeze stir my kitchen curtains.

What a fantastic CD, and I can't believe I don't have it yet.

Thanks for hosting, Susanne!

Howdy neighbor... for I believe we must be since our weather is similar.

We just got back from having soccer games on a day that will reach the high's of 30's with snow on the way. It even snowed a bit while we were playing soccer. This is my 4th year coaching and that is definately a First!!! BBBRRRR.....

Who wouldn't want to win this CD? Thanks for offering a chance! :-)

I don't even want to tell you that I am wearing shorts and a t-shirt right now, and that my kids are outside playing baseball in shorts. Pretend I never said that. Oh and my hubby mowed the lawn today.
What a contrast to your weather!!!
Think Spring!!
And count my in for the SCC CD! Thanks!

Finally that's not us!! We had a beautiful day today--I think it might have even hit 80 degrees---and just 2 weeks ago I was watching the last of the snow melt! Hello spring in western NY (never fear--we could still have more snow yet...)

and I LOVE Steven Curtis Chapman ;)

We had snow over here in Vancouver, BC today also. There is a 60% of either rain or snow tomorrow also, which really sucks because its the annual 10km Sunrun and I don't want to run in the snow!
Thanks for holding this contest, and thanks for all the Christian encouragement you give out on your blog. You are helping me to keep focused on the important thing in life ~ God.

today was cool, I'm guessing maybe 68 degrees, and cloudy. That after some nice, warm sunny weather.

I'd love to win the cd, I've been meaning to purchase it.

stay warm!

Oh my! What a change between the photos. Who'd have thought it was spring?

Unbelievable Susanne!! I hate to tell you our weather. It seems sort of mean somehow. It has been just gorgeous - clear, sunny, in the low 80's. But it is cloudy today if that helps.
Ah - I do remember living up north. It's what makes me appreciate living in Texas so much.
Thanks for the giveaway - and have a blessed (warm and cozy) weekend.

Our weather here in central CA is very spring like which means it is quite unpredictable! Over the weekend we were in the 70s and 80s and today our high is 64 degrees.

Would love to be entered to win this CD....like Sandra, I enter bloggy contests all the time and have never ever won one :( I LOVE LOVE LOVE Steven Curtis Chapman, and would love to get this CD.

Blessings,
Lori

I live in the deep south so it is already starting to feel like summer. It was in the 80s today. Pretty but starting to get hot. :)

I live in the Pacific Northwest: Friday-rain; Saturday-rain; Sunday-rain; today-rain - blah! Highs in the 40's - 50's (my least favorite type of weather ever) a SCC CD would cheer me up!

Tammy said...

Yep...here in the NW it is drizzly and COLD - much colder than it usually is this time of year! :(

Anyway, count me in for the CD, Susanne!

I might be too late, but I love SCC. The weather was actually nice here this weekend - a little rainy but at least we are done with the snow.
