It's still snowing and c-c-c-cold here, -11*C, 12*F. Praise God, the blizzard warning was lifted yesterday evening. So needless to say, I'm feeling the urge for lots of comforting, crockpot kinds of meals. What is up with the weather? I know it's Southern Alberta and all, and that we usually have a spring snow, but Mr. Weatherman must we have the below 0 winter temperature? This is nasty even for the most seasoned Eskimo.
Monday: crockpot honey orange chicken (didn't happen yesterday), rice, california mix veggies
Tuesday: Layered Potatoe/sausage Casserole, green/yellow beans
Wednesday: Crockpot maple spice pork chops (adapted from this recipe), buttered herb noodles
Thursday: crockpot ranch drumsticks, whipped potatoes, mixed veggies
Friday: scrounge day
Saturday: Mexican Lasagana,
Sunday: Jeremy's Fave Chili, buns

You definitely have the most diverse weather there!!! I have that SCC CD and I LOVE it!
WOW...your weather is so unpredictable huh?
Your menu looks so mouth watering!!! I don't have mine planned yet other than today...it is 74 so I am gonna grill some steaks, make a huge salad, and some other veggie...I love grilled anything!
Oh my, I can't even picture what it is like to get snow this late into the year. It's a humid 85ยบ here right now :) In a few months, our air conditioning will run 24x7 since it will be 97 during the day and 82 at night :)
Your menu sounds good and so do all of those crockpot meals. I'm going to go check out some of the links, thanks for sharing those. Believe it or not, I use my crockpot more in the summer, because it doesn't put out much heat. I hate to run my oven in the summer here :(
Hope you have a great day, and week!!
Hey Susanne, what's your recipe for Tuesday's casserole?
We've been having crazy "wintery" spring weather here, too! I've pulled all the "winter" recipes back out for another week. :)
Blessings,
Michele :)
