Word for the Weekend ~ Isaiah 43

Photo Credit: Simona Dumitru, UK

"Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name,

you are mine.

When you pass through the waters,

I will be with you;

and when you pass through the rivers,

they will not sweep over you.

When you walk through the fire,

you will not be burned;

the flames will not set you ablaze.

For I am the Lord, your God,

the Holy One of Israel, your Savior."

Isaiah 43:1 - 3a

I'm getting the feeling God wants me to memorize this passage. It has shown up all over the place in my life in the past week.

Thanks so much for reiterating God's message to my heart.

Hugs to you, dear friend!

catching up a bit over here. I love you ideas about making your home more peaceful! I know all too well about working in the home with pre-schoolers... I think you ideas of quiet time, meal time and bed time all seem like great ideas. Praying the Lord blesses you with the deligence to follow through and joy through it all!!!

I just recently read this scripture - it's one of my absolute favorites, Susanne. It's what we all need...God with us through the hard times!

The picture is just beautiful...stunning, actually.
