Here's what he said for me:
This just confirmed some things for me about what I had originally intended and where I wanted to be. So go on, he is a very positive critiquer (is that a word?). Even when he does see something that could need improving he states it in a positive way.
Just what story is that? The story of her life and her faith and her family. This is a calming blog that has a positive force present throughout it. I like the idea of sending a blogging bouquets to your bloggin buddies...nice idea...first time I came across that. Some cool features through out and the blog itself has a good format. In Susanne's first post she asks the question...To blog or not to blog...Looks like you made the right choice!

Susanne he definitely nailed your blog :)
You're such an amazing lady and such an inspiration to all of us, you're also very brave for I don't have the courage to have my blog critiqued, I'm afraid he would probably say something mean and I would go cry in a corner LOL
Have a wonderful day,
Sandra
Well, of course he loved your blog! You have a wonderful, heartfilling site.
He seems to get a real feel for the blogs he critiques. He certainly got the right impression of yours. Dead on.
Very nice and of course very true. I love coming here to read the stories you tell.
I might have to do this but I have a terrible fear of rejection. I'd be too nervous!
Laura :)
Congratulations! We all love your blog.
I went away in a vacation and I am so glad I am back reading my favorite ladies blogs, that's happiness to me, yay!!!
He's absolutely right. He described it as calming, And I think that is an excellent description, but I can think of many more wonderful words that I would use. Encouraging, Uplifting, Warm, Real, Inviting, etc. etc.
What a cool idea! Your blog is wonderful Susanne, he's right :)
I think I'd be slightly nervous to do this myself! I wonder what he'd think of mine? LOL
If he didn't love your blog he'd be crazy!
"This is a calming blog that has a positive force present throughout it."
Amen to that! I'd add that your blog points us to the REAL story and our Savior.
Susanne, you're so brave. I'm so self-critical, I'd be afraid that I would obsess about the things he might say.
could not agree more!!!! I second his words, I am blessed to have you as a bloggy friend.
(1) I totally agree with what he said. He is very perceptive! I'm so glad you decided "to blog."
(2) I won't be getting mine critiqued. :) Putting my thoughts out there on the WWW was enough outside my comfort zone. Having it critiqued might make me never turn my computer on again... LOL
I'm too scared!
Great description of your wonderful blog Susanne, I checked out the link and gave it a go - I am almost feeling a little nervous now!
You have a beautiful blog Susanne! Very well deserved comments. I enjoy checking your site each day.
Oh, and.... I did it!! We'll have to see. Thanks for the invite.
sounds like he hit the nail right on the head! xoxo
"Do you have the guts?" Was that a challenge? A dare? Hmmm...
And I agree fully with his opinion. I think you made the right choice to blog too!
I enjoyed his critiques. I finally worked up the nerve to submit my request. I am so afraid he will say something like.."rambling idiot, do they let her drive a car, someone should rescue her children, her poor husband..."
I can't wait to see it.
Have a great afternoon.
Yes, you are definately to blog my friend! I am amazed at your willingness to have someone critique your blog...I don't know if I am ready to do that myself! I also love your blog bouquets of flowers and even did this (giving you full credit by the way for the idea) myself this week for Heather, Keli and Angel, all blogging friends who are going through various trials at this time.
Much love to you and your family,
Tracy
As if there was any question! of COURSE you made the right choice!!!
Sheesh!
And yes ... your blog is awesome, if I must say so myself!
Okay ... I think I can gather enough courage to do this...
He said it very well - what a nice calming blog. We just love you, Susanne!
