Paying it Forward

MomRn2 from My Quiet Corner has truly blessed me by giving me a Thinking Blogger Award that is making it's rounds around blogland. It's very humbling to me because MomRn was one of my very first blogging buddies, a friend before I even had a blog. And I don't think she knows how sometimes I think I really don't make any sense at all and stew and worry that what I wrote is actually what I meant to say. So thank you MomRn2, you are a real encouragement to me. And I would actually have given you this award as you always make me think, but seeing you gave it to me means you've already recieved it. :v)

Now the cool idea with this award is to Pay it Forward to 5 people who have made you think through their blogging. How fun. But I must say this is going to be very difficult. I could give this to each and every blog I read, for you all bless me and make me think on something. But here are the blogs I chose for now, because something they wrote in the last little while has caused me to take pause and think.

Linda at 2nd Cup of Coffee. I look forward to going to Linda's site every day. She is a great writer and no matter what she is writing on she laces it with humor. She has made me think to look for the humor and joy of the Lord in each day.

Katherine at Raising Five. Katherine and I started blogging around the same time and I look forward to reading her posts on family. She always makes me think and take a look on how I am raising my children. Great encouragement to me you are, Katherine!

Carol at She Lives. I started reading Carol before I had a blog, too. She is very dedicated to the Lord and always makes me think in the area of how I am walking my Christian walk out before the Lord. She's always challenging me in various areas to take God at His word.

Jules @ Everyday Mommy. Jules loves to gives us questions that really make us get into the Word of God and search out for ourselves what God has to say on all sorts of topics. I love that. I don't always comment on every topic but I love to read everyone's perspectives and feel greatly challenged to search out why I believe what I believe.

Chris at Come to the Table. Chris makes me think and challenges me to draw closer to the Lord. Her posts aren't always long but in a short few paragraphs, Chris is able to pinpoint things in my heart and causes me to think how to draw closer in my relationship with Jesus.

I wish I could have given out 80 of these little thinking awards, for all in different ways, make me think and challenge me in different posts. That is why I read you. I am so thankful for the group of women that God has lead me to in blogland. You are a real blessing to me.

Susanne, you are the encouragement to ME, just one step ahead in this parenting thing (okay, maybe two or three!). I think I will be paying it forward by paying it back as well! Thank you so much. You are a friend and precious kindred spirit.

Oh my. I'm honored and ...well, what they said. Awfully good of you to think of me, Susanne. 'Specially considering how little I've been around much...making people think or otherwise.

Feeling totally blessed right now!

Congratulations, Susanne. And you chose five great people to pay it forward to. I could have easily given out 80 of these awards, too. It was really difficult to limit it to five.

Hope your back is 100% better now.

I love all these blogs too! Great choices and I had forgotten about a couple of these. Your blog is definitely a joy to read and makes me think, especially when you give personal examples with your children. Keep sharing with us!

Linda...she's been checking up on me every day, bless her heart- but wouldn't you know...skipped reading the very day I mention her! ;)

You so deserve this as well. You are a loving, Godly example of a Christian woman who is striving to live for God.

There are just so many wonderful bloggers out there; it's hard to narrow it down to just five...
