SILLY MEME I stole this from Stacy @ Exceedingly Mundane and added it to my wonderful collection of memes in my drafts 'cause I knew I'd be needing to call on a mindless good, fun meme up once in a while.
1.When you looked at yourself in the mirror today, what was the first thing you thought? Who the heck left their luggage under my eyes?
2.How much cash do you have on you? $22.65. I so rarely have cash, I'm wondering where on earth it came from and what bill did I forget to pay.
3.What’s a word that rhymes with DOOR? Store. As in we are getting a new front door from a door store next month. Yay!
4.Do you label yourself? Hubby's wife, Basketball girl's mom, Strapping Son's mom, Tweenie Girl's mom
5.Bright or Dark Room? Dark to sleep in. Natural light bright in day.
6.Why is there always a missing question? There's a question missing? Ok, I'll make one up then. Last movie you watched. "The Net" with Sandra Bullock.
7.What does your watch look like? I just got it for my birthday from Beloved Hubby. It's a beautiful Seiko Solar. Silver with a black oval face with a black frame around that. Silver dots for numbers. The face and band flow together so it looks like one piece. Love it!
8.What were you doing at midnight last night? Reading, and I'm paying for it this morning. Hence, you're reading a meme instead of a brilliantly written, inspiring anecdote.
9.Where is your nearest 7-11? About a mile, mile and a half away going both north and south.
10.What’s a word that you say a lot? Sheesh!
11.Who told you he/she loved you last? Beloved Hubby
12.Last furry thing you touched? My furball doggy who desperately needs a haircut
13.How many rolls of film do you need developed? I'm high tech man, with a digital. Now if I could just figure out to work most of it. I so hate reading techie instructional books!
14.Favorite age you have been so far? Don't really have a favorite age. But some years do stand out. "10"- The year my family went to Hungary to visit all the relatives and I met all my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins for the first time. We were there a month. "29", "31" , "34" - The year's I had my kids. The year of a newborn is always wonderful. I don't know. My forties brought a sort of confidence with it that I didn't really have before that.
15.Your worst enemy? The couch
16.What is your current desktop picture? An old watermill in a fall forest
17.What was the last thing you said to someone? "Have a great day"
18.The last song you listened to? Something on my new Newsboys CD. Don't know the names of the songs yet.
19.What time of day were you born? Haven't a clue
20.What do you do when vending machines steal your money? I refuse to use vending machines anymore due to that very fact.
21.Do you consider yourself kind? Most of the time. I'm working on it for all the time. Especially with my own family. Trying to be less "bossy" and "instructional" and more kind and grace filled.
22.What’s your life motto? God is in control.
23.Name three things you have on you at all times. Ummm, clothes? Other than that? When I go out, my purse. It contains my life.
24.Can you change the oil on a car? You need to change the oil in the car? Just kidding. Nope, that is hubby's department.
25.When was the last time you wrote a letter to someone on paper and mailed it? Other than Christmas cards? Sheesh! Probably a letter about 8 years ago to a eyeglass frame manufacturer asking them to stand behind their product as advertised.
There you are. Deep, wasn't it? Thank goodness for a backlog of memes in drafts for such a time as this.

Fun meme! You were a year off MY ages that I was when I had my kids - 28, 30, 33. That's kind of strange!
Just wanted to say I LOVE the cup in your profile pic when you leave a comment. Does that happen to be an actual picture of your mugs?
You do the meme saving thing too, huh? Maybe now you'll understand why I've not posted yours yet, but I fully intend to do so tomorrow - unless something really exciting happens between now and then.
Your menu looks great this week! Love the meme, too cute.
Have a great Monday!
That is a cute meme. I liked it and of course your answers made me laugh which is always a good thing in my book :)
Sounds like a great menu week!
Laura
My meatloaf didn't happen last week either! I tried to buy brussel sprouts today and my Walmart didn't have them, ugh.
What kind of barley does your beef barley recipe use, quick cook or something else?
You just had to throw the brussels sprouts in, didn't you?
Doris: No that's not one of my actual mugs but I sure would love it to be! I just love it and I'm sure coffee tastes even better in it.
Shalee: MmmHmmm! (c;
Gail: I use "pot barley". I didn't know there was any other kind. I'm assuming it's not quick cook.
Shalee: Ya, got ya again didn't I?
Oh yeah, you did the silly meme! I thought it was fun, glad you saved it for a "rainy" day, or a day when you can't think of anything witty to say. Which, alas, for me is most of the time! :) Loved reading your answers.
Great sounding menu too. I need to do bbq chicken for my hubby again soon, he loves it and I don't ever think to make it. The Italian chicken burgers sound good, does it just use ground chicken? Yummy!
Have a great day and a terrific week :)
That was fun, Susanne! Loved hearing about your trip and the ages of when you had your babies. :)
I've never seen this one before. It's cute! Honestly, does anyone actually write letters by hand any more? I don't remember the last time I did that. There's no way I'd have the patience.
Thanks for that beef barley recipe! My teenage son would love it.
Answering the question you posted to my menu blog:
Susanne, "sfo" stands for "Secular Franciscan Order." It is a group of people who are not priests or nuns but instead living in family life (or single life) and who strive to follow the example of St. Francis of Assisi in our own lives. There are SFOs all over the world, and we meet in small groups to support each other in this walk of life.
Thanks for visiting :)
Hey, I was up reading at midnight last night too! I might steal the meme for my funny blog tomorrow! I've been so slack about posting there!!
couldnt you sleep :( Ive got some lavender mist to spray on my pillow when I cant sleep. I also read in bed.
Must have been a real experience for you going to Hungary when you were 10.
like your answer for number 15 :)
That really was a fun meme - and you did a good job with it. I think it's great that you went to Hungary. My husband is Hungarian (both sides of his family), and I would love to visit some day.
Have a good one!!
Well, even with your tired brains you made me giggle.
Fun meme, the picture at the begining was funny!
That was a fun meme! I may have to do this one if I can't come up with more than a sentence or two sometime soon. You cracked me up!
How fun to read your answers. I'll have to put this in my backlog of memes for now, I have to cram for an aptitude test for a job I might get! Glad to see I"m not the only one who saves memes for rainy days!!!
Very fun! Can I come over for dinner? Your menu this week sounds sooo good! I usually make the same old stuff each week! Have a blessed week! Tracy
I learned a lot about you from this one,Susanne!
Kim
Sheesh. Your memes make me smile. If I had $22.00 on me, I'd be dancing a jig.
Fun Meme - thanks for sharing! I posted it, too. :)
Cool meme, lol! #2 #16 and #22 is me too :)
That meme was so fun to read. I loved the answers to #1,2 which would be identical to mine except I have more cash today. I had to get some out of the ATM to pay my son back from when I borrowed money this weekend. Am I bad?
Meme's are fun, aren't they? I enjoyed reading yours!
His,
Mrs. U
I am cracking up at #1. Were we looking in the same mirror?
I love reading meme's like this, so full of interesting little tidbits! Great life motto also!
Those were fun to read. I liked the labels. I love a good meme for times when my brain is dead as well.
Susanne--
Thanks for stopping by over at my (fairly) new blog. I am a bit behind in my reading, but I had to giggle and comment that I so rarely have cash in my wallet that I stare at it as if it is the most random thing to find there.
Kind of funny since we use the cash system-- I am used to battered evvelopes with $$$, but never bills just wildly hanging out in my wallet. And yep, there is a reason for that-- they don't stay there long.
