October Reading Possibilities

September was a bit of a slow reading month for me.  As we head into the 3rd quarter of the year I am definitely behind in my goal of reading my 26 purchased books sitting on my stack.  It's hard not to get distracted with other books but this year was also about mood reading so there is that.  October choices
has 2 picks from those stacks that had fall colors so were drawing me, the reread I want to do before the year is out, the book that was loaned to me from my son's girlfriend and I want to read and return as quick as possible and then a few mystery/thrillers sitting in the closet because, well, it's the October vibe.

  1. Im currently halfway through The Women by Kristin Hannah. EXCELLENT historic fiction. Next up will be the 11th Agatha Christie book, then Knife Creek in the Maine series I'm working my way throo ugh. It's funny but I've read several Ruth Ware books (loved all but 1) and yet haven't read It Girl yet. You'll have to let me know how you like it. I've been looking for it at the library and haven't seen it yet. I did read her latest and reviewed it on my blog. I'm also in the middle of the Joyce Meyer book Loving People who are hard to Love which is my small group study for this semester. You have a big list here for one month!

  2. You have amazing reading goals for October. I will be lucky to get 2 books borrowed from the library and finished along with my Chronological Bible reading. I hope to make my goodreads goal of 20 books. LOL! Happy reading!

  3. All of your October possibilities look excellent. I haven't read any of them, but I might have that Lisa Scottoline book. Right now, I am finishing up some nonfiction, then I hope to get to some more fiction - maybe some good suspense mystery books! Have fun reading!
