"For I know the plans I have for you, delclares the Lord,
Plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future.
Then you will call upon me and
and come and pray to me,
and I will listen to you.
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
I will be found by you, declares the Lord."
Jeremiah 29 : 11 - 14a NIV
Kay's favorite scripture. Please keep us in your prayers as we help her move to another province to attend bible school and seek God for her future. I'll be back later in the week.
I love to sing this Bible verse!
ReplyDeleteHave you heard the music--it has a Caribbean sound to it.

You got the prayers. Love the picture.
ReplyDeleteI try so hard to not have a favorite Bible verse, Susanne. But I have to admit, Jeremiah 29 always, always speaks to me.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. And it's absolutely perfect that you would choose this verse, this weekend. "...the plans I have for you," is perfect because your daughter is moving into the next stage of her life.
May God go with you and comfort you as you help her transition into this huge new stage of her life. I've been there. Twice. And I know it's difficult for us moms. Very difficult. But I also know, you survive.
It's just hard when our first chick leaves the nest. There's no way around it - it's emotionally devastating.
Bless your heart. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and in my prayers.
This is on my wall in my family room.
ReplyDeleteI just love these Scriptures!!

ReplyDeleteI have that verse on a plaque on our wall. I'm praying it for your Kay right now. And that the Lord would give you courage and comfort as your first fledgling leaves the nest.
ReplyDeleteI love that verse. It's not easy to take that first one off to school! I was very teary and I'm sure most all moms are. I hope you're faring ok this week, thinking about you! It will get better!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! The next season in life! Praying for all of you!
ReplyDeleteOne of my very favorite verses, too. Praying for each of you, especially your dear Kay and you. God bless each of you abundantly, my friend, and keep you all safe. Thinking of you... :0)
ReplyDeleteLetting go is so hard. I'll be praying for all of you. I'm sure God has great things in store for her but that doesn't make it easier to let her go either.
ReplyDeleteLove this verse too! Praying for Kay and for you. How exciting for her!
