Tree Sharing

Linda at 2nd Cup of Coffee is hosting a carnival to share pics of our trees and or special ornaments.  Please join in with us.

I must confess two things.  First I love taking a peek a everyone's trees.  I find them so lovely and original to each family's personality.  Secondly, I take full responsibility for the state of the ribbon on the tree. It was the state of mind I was in.  But I was just too tired to rip it off and start again.

The last couple of years I've really been getting into bird ornaments and eventually I'd love to get one of those sprayed trees that look like they are thick with frost and snow and just have bird and pinecone ornaments.    But for now my "memory" tree warms my heart.

I bought a beautiful bird ornament for my hubs when I was in Germany last week. We're big into the birds too and I love that idea of a bird tree. Since I've started looking there are lots of pretty bird ornaments out there.

Your tree is pretty!

Lovely! I have a few bird ornaments.

We don't even have our tree up yet. It was raining horrendously (and flooding a bit later) last Saturday when we were going to go get it. My husband doesn't like to put ti up right after Thanksgiving, and tree-shopping at night doesn't work out well for us with everyone's work schedule. Hopefully this weekend!

I collect bird ornaments. I try and pick up a few new ones each year. When we went to Biltmore last year I found about 4 or 5 really wonderful bird ornaments. One day I think it would be amazing to do a tree like you suggested with nothing but bird all over it!

Merry Christmas, beautiful tree!

Blessings

One of my favorite things about you is your love for little birds. I share that love, and I would love to see a flocked tree like you described. Thanks for sharing, my friend. I tried to delete your first link but could not, for some reason. All day I've had trouble accessing people's sites, etc. Anyway, it's very clear you corrected your link, so I'm sure most people used the second one.

Your tree is beautiful! I love the bird ornaments; I have one little bird in a nest on our tree. My mom always had one similiar on hers.

You'll certainly be able to continue adding to your bird ornament collection -- bird ornaments are everywhere! That's a lovely idea and I hope you achieve your "dream tree" one of these years :)

Merry Christmas!

Your tree is lovely.

We have begun collecting bird ornaments, as well, however, they end up OFF the tree hiding around the house by the end of the season. Maybe they're migrating?! :)

My two young girls bought a purple tree to put in their room this year and the first thing they put on it were two red birds. It was actually really cute.

Thanks for sharing!
