First there was this:

Then came 25 minutes of this:

And finally there was this:

Luscious, homemade mixed berry ice cream.

No additives, no preservatives.

Calcium, Vitamin D.

That means I can eat an extra scoop, right?

Today it will be creamy vanilla.

My new appliance love?

Now I really need to develop a love for this:

Update: The vanilla is to die for. Simply to die for. I wonder if I can get another batch made before the fam comes home because this batch might not make it till they get home. Us forty somethings need our calcium to fight osteoporosis.

Oh it looks sooooo good. The ice cream I make for my son in my Cuisinart is made from marshmallows and rice milk. Go figure!

Yum!! We bought one of those a couple of summers ago. I used it several times, but then I sort of stalled. I've been meaning to get it back out again, and now you've inspired me.

And that's exactly why I bought three of those wonderful ice cream makers last summer, one for me and one for each of my daughters. Doncha just love it?

I have been looking for one of those appliances at stores, but haven't been able to find it! Thanks for the link! I'll be ordering one! Even though it's 32 degrees here, some raspberry sorbet sounds delish!

Blessings,
