Friday's Fave Five #42

Welcome to Fave Five. Another week gone by already. I could hardly believe that it's already late Thursday evening. Already another chance to look back and find the nice things over the week. If you're new you can get details here. Then just jump in! Thank you all you regular posters. You're posts on your favorites have been such a blessing!

A busy, busy week this last week. Lots to look back over but these were my top 5 favorites.

1. 26 years together with my favorite man, my hubby. Thursday was our 26th Anniversary. I can hardly believe that. Happy Anniversary, Sweetie. Here's to at least 26 more!

2. Graduation. Not a big grade 12 grad, but a big enough one. My youngest has graduated junior high (grade 9). That means I am no longer a mom of anyone younger than high school. Wow. I can't believe I just typed that sentence. Congrats, Tia! You looked beautiful for your celebrations.

3. Iced Coffee. Specifically, iced coffee I can make at home. Goodbye hot coffee in the afternoons. A nice tall glass of iced coffee at about 1:30 when all is silent during quiet time is worth it's weight in gold!

4. Fresh Fruit. Yummy, for all the fresh fruit that is in season lately. We've been enjoying an especially delicious batch of gala apples, and sweet cantaloupes and really tasty red grapes.

5. Vacuum cleaners. After the Father's Day crafting mess, I am very happy and grateful for my vacuum cleaner. Beats beating rugs with tennis racket!

What are your favorites this week? I'd love to hear (read). If you've done a post, please click on the Mr. Linky icon and join in. Just a reminder to link to the specific post that you want us to go to. Have a great weekend, everyone!

  4. Happy Anniversary! What a great list - iced coffee (or coffee milk) as they call it here, is the state drink of Rhode Island and it certainly is delicious on a warm day. Please send me an e-mail with your address and I'll send you a bottle - you mix it with milk (skim, 2% or whole) and then enjoy!

  27. Hi Susanne, thanks for visiting my FFF entry. I saw your comment but accidentally clicked reject instead of publish. It went off with Gombojav Tribe's comment. I am upset for being clumsy.

Anyway I appreciate your thoughts on the off-key happy birthday singers on my street :-) Til next week.
