Friday's Fave Five #39

Welcome, welcome. It's Friday so it's time for Fave Five. I'm looking forward to all your favorites from the week. I could use me a bit of encouragement and making my own list and then reading all yours always uplifts me. So let's get right to it. If you're new, you can go here to get the details.

1. This youtube video cracks me right up.

2. The garden is in! Yipee, it was beautiful weather this week and I finally got to get all the flowers planted. I always feel really good when this is done.

3. Maple walnut ice cream. Haven't had it in years. Had it this week. 'Nuff said.

4. Pineapple Daiquiri Cooling Foot Creme. Love this stuff from Beauti Control. I don't even know if they make it anymore but I sure am love the tube that I have. It smells sooo good and actually leaves your feet feeling cool. Very nice.

5. Open windows at night time. The weather has been nice enough through the night that we can actually leave a couple of windows open just a little bit. There is something about fresh air that just makes me sleep better.

6. I'm breaking the rules just this once and adding an extra one today. And if you know me and my rule following tendencies, you will know the reason has got to be pretty extra special. And it is. The opportunity to do this giveaway has me thrilled. Please click on over to this post and have a peek and enter the draw for a CD. Leaving a comment will get you entered. And there is a way to get 3 extra entries in too!

What's been your favorites this week? If you've done a post, sign on to Mr. Linky and join the fun. The linky is a little different this week until they work out their issues. Just click on the words "Mister Linky" and sign on as usual. The links are not displayed so please click on it to display and access the links.

  5. That video is hilarious! And the mom singing is so funny. She chose a great song, too. I don't know if you plan this or not, but your writing always has a lot of sensory detail in it, which is really cool.

  11. That video is too cute! Glad you got your garden in! Work on our flower beds is waiting for my husband to finish painting -- and he's been waiting for it to stop raining and for the schedule to clear.

We don't open windows now because some of us have allergies, but we had one house when I was a teen that got a really nice cross breeze when we opened the windows. I loved it.

  19. I've just started leaving my window open again as well although last night I had to close it because the rain coming down was so loud!

So did you have to take some more script (other than the header script) out to get Mr. Linky to work? I've got to figure it out before Sunday.

  22. Maple walnut ice cream... it's been years for me too! It's one of those ice cream flavors like butter pecan. I go years without it and then out of the blue, I have it and wonder why I stayed away so long.

Thanks for sharing your list, I must join in one day soon. :)

  24. I hope that you're happier now.

It certainly hasn't been warm enough here to have open windows at night! We've been going below freezing EVERY night and only going up to about 8 during the day!
