This is a good post, Susanne, reminding me that it takes courage to lay fear aside and believe that God can change people. I was wrestling with that last night, lying awake trying to figure it out. I started reading this post yesterday, but got sidetracked. I'm so glad I came back to it this morning!Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09147413132595250490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28854403.post-81884906024589599742012-11-19T13:45:13.266-07:002012-11-19T13:45:13.266-07:00Barbara: I think you've defined it well. She always gave huge amounts of money to charities for political prisoners. <br />When she was 17, she lived in Natzi Germany and saw two of her friends hung on the street for speaking out publicly about the treatment of the Jews. She always carried the guilt of not speaking up even though there was nothing she could do. xxxxxsnowbirdhttp://www.gardensandwildlife.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28854403.post-77753802548635775122012-11-19T10:20:21.651-07:002012-11-19T10:20:21.651-07:00Good questions, Susanne.
