My Thoughts:
This bible has so many neat little features, all very user friendly.  I really liked how each book of the bible is started with a note about the author of that particular book, the dates the book was written, a bit of background to the book, the central theme and an outline of the book.  There are short, devotional lessons scattered throughout each book dealing with different topics that I found interesting and got me into what God's Word says about specific topics.  And my nerd heart loved the fact that at the bottom of each page there were notes to specific verses that explained all sorts of things from definitions to descriptions to references.  These study helps really expanded, brought understanding and/or enriched various passages that I read.  And my love of a good quote also enjoyed all the various quotes from inspirational Christian women scattered throughout.  I'll definitely be using this bible when I study or want to glean more understanding.

If you want to glance at some pages yourself to get a good idea of the set up of this bible you can link over here and scroll down to the video preview and click on it.  It will take you through quite a few pages so you can get a good idea.

Thanks to Thomas Nelson for providing this bible free of charge for my honest review.  All opinions are my own and I was not required to write a positive review.

Oh I saw this online and wondered about it! I did just get a new Bible (women of faith devotional one in NIV) from Dave a couple of Xmas' ago so I don't really "need" a new Bible. But it would be neat to own this one. Thanks for the review!
