Back to Routine

You know, I have it in the back of my mind during my time off.  It's always rattling around there somewhere. The fact that on I have to go back to work after the holidays.  The thought that I better not get too much out of routine with my sleep habits or I'll be sorry.  But inevitably with my girl here visiting and all the celebrating and all the out of norm eating, the thought gets shoved down and buried.  I stayed up way past my bedtime each night and I slept in every day.  And sure enough this morning that back to work alarm came way, way, way too early!  Yikes, today's gonna be a tough one.

Ellen: LOL! You are so right! Who do I gotta go see to make that happen. Holidays on a Friday, I'd vote for that!

I know what you mean. I tend toward being a night owl anyway. My husband had to go back to work this morning but my youngest doesn't go back to college for a couple of weeks yet, so I went back to sleep. Guess that's not an option for you , though. :-) Hope you can get to bed early tonight.

LLOL....yup..i had a tough time getting up at 5:30 in the cold dark. And then to discover that my area of NY was only 14 degrees....BRRRRRR......

looking forward to working on the FFF tomorrow evening with my warm fuzzy socks and a steaming mug of coffee....

OH..and I didn't forget about your fudge. I had to go buy more ingredients so will whip them up friday evening and have them in the mail on saturday. :)

Well, I'm still on vacation, but my intention was to take advantage of all the daylight hours to work on Pruning Week. But like you and Barbara, I tend to stay up later than I should and wake up later, too... that's gonna hurt next week.

Yeah, it's been a bit tough, compounded by illness today in 2/3 of the kids...

I wanted to let you know that I am considering stopping linking up FFF. I would continue on my personal blog, but not link...or maybe just doing it still at TSH and not linking. I noticed this past month I really struggled to get around and visit the others...and community is a big reason to do it...to encourage the others. And I feel badly to link and not share the love with them.

I am also considering just linking up once a month or so...we'll see what happens!

That's wonderful that your son and daughter were both home!! I have heard that game is a lot of fun but have not had a chance to play it yet.
