Friday's Fave Five #192

Hi everyone and welcome!  Ready to share your five favorite blessings from the week?  Please join in even if you never have before.  Guidelines are here.

1.  A week late but worth every petal.  These flowers from my kids for Mother's Day.  I just love them.  The petunias are a really pretty color I've never seen before:  a greeny-yellow with pink edges.  Gorgeous!

2.  New bible cover.  I finally splurged and got myself a new bible cover that I really like.  I'd been using a castoff from my oldest when she was a junior higher.  I just never found another one I liked better.  That is until now.

3.  Long Weekends.  This last Monday was a long weekend here in Canada and I took full advantage of the extra day.  I slept in, stayed in my jammies reading and having coffee, then went for a lovely walk with hubby and the dog.  After that we went and bought my bedding out plants courtesy of hubby for Mother's Day.  We finished off with grilled steak, fried potatoes and caesar salad - a favorite summer meal.  Love long weekends.

4.  It's baaaack!  Mocha Coconut Frappuccino at Starbucks.  Mocha sauce, coconut syrup, coffee, milk, ice, whipped creme and toasted coconut.  Yup.  On my faves list!

5.  So You Think You Can Dance started last night.  A guilty pleasure in tv watching for me.  The auditions are not my favorite part but the rest of the show I love.

Please remember the Mr. Linky is for those participating in the Fave Five.  If you don't do a post feel free to visit around and comment.  Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

Bedding plants! Better than candy (maybe)! I'm glad you had Monday to put them in the ground, AND sleep in AND enjoy that bbq.

What a really lovely bouquet -- those spring colors are so sweet. We're coming up on our long weekend; your #3 has me anticipating the relaxation! Enjoy your weekend and maybe one of those frappuccinos!

I had to smile when I read your long weekend description. Now that I am retired and have the whole year weekends, they are sooo boring because here in Belgium all shops, stores, supermarkets etc are closed ! When I worked I was so happy to have an extra day of and a long weekend !

The petunias are so pretty. I have never seen that color, either.

Hurray for day off to spend in jammies! I'm hoping Monday will be that for us.

SYTYCD is a guilty pleasure for me, too. I was just reading yesterday that FOX canceled its results shows, though! It will be interesting to see how they work with that.

I love your petunias!

I'm glad you have a bible cover you love, isn't it funny how we'll buy things for our kids but put off buying something for our selves.

I love, love, love three day weekends. I'm very much looking forward to ours this weekend.

The picture of your grill looks delicious! I'm definitely going to have to check out those frappuccinos too.

Your plants are so pretty! Love them. And that's my favorite summer dinner, too. Planning to have that next week. I especially love it since the hubby does all the grilling.

Have a great week, Susanne!

I'm not a big fan of Starbucks but I may just need to go and get one of those. Yummy!
