Hanging in with the Paper Project

If you ever want to complicate your life, just announce to the world via a blog that you are trying to simplify your life. So after I let you all in to the fact that I am trying to streamline the way I do some things in my life, everything in my life got a bit hairy harry harried crazy this week. Sigh. Why does that happen? It's like someone has a weird sense of humor and wants to see if I really mean what I post. But I am happy to let you know it has been two weeks and I've been handling the paper project well, even in the midst of insanity. Hopefully, I make it to the 28 day timeline that they say will make an act a habit.

On a side note, is anyone getting into the series on NBC: the EVENT? I think I might be hooked. Which is unusual because I don't typically get into the series stuff. Unless it's Flashpoint. And I cannot miss one of those. I just can't. I think it's one of the best cop shoes ever written. But for the most part, I'm more of a Food Network/HGTV kind of watcher. All I can say is thank goodness for the PVR! (DVR, Tivo to my American friends).

I think it happens to all of us. Best laid plans always seem to go awry. Looks like you passed the test!

My word verification was blessess. How great is that?

I haven't even heard of the Event...what is it? we don't have cable and believe it or not we don't even get a tv guide any more with our paper! argh....I have to check online for what is on tv and most evenings that doesn't happen. My fave show is Law and Order SVU. love the main characters...and SOMETIMES when we are home from jazz and ballet on time, I watch Dancing with the Stars....and yay for you for persevering thru the paper project :)

Very often in Elisabeth Elliot's writings she has said that whenever she speaks on a topic, she finds herself tested on it just before or after.

Yes, I love The Event! Not quite as compelling as LOST, but it still grabbed me from the first episode -- even before from the commercials.

I have not seen The Event yet, can I watch it out of sequence? Flashpoint is one of my favorites too. Now many of my friends are watching it too. I think I heard about it here. . .
