Friday's Fave Five #40

Oh my goodness. We are on #40! I can't believe it. What a wonderful time it has been too! Reading everybody's favorite things from their weeks and looking back over my own week to find my favorites has been so good for outlook! Thank you all for joining in with me. We'll have to do a special celebration one for #50. I'll think on it and bring details in the following weeks. If you're new, now is as good a time as any to jump on board. Details are here.
For this weeks favorites:

1. This little guy:

I know I already posted this picture this week but seriously? How could you not love a face like that? Or love that he does goofy things that make for good blog pictures?

2. Bike riding. The first of the year. Hubby and I have gone on two wonderful bike rides this week. It's been so much fun, out in beautiful sunshine that is not burning hot yet, but just right and it gave me a new appreciation for where I live. But both times I completely forgot to take along the camera. Durn. Next time I will have to write it across my forehead or something.

3. Ice Cold Watermelon. Again our first of the season. Yummy. So juicy, so flavorful. And good and cold. Hubby likes his room temp but I like mine right out of the fridge.

4. HydraSense. My new best product friend forever. I have so many issues with dryness and a hard time breathing easily, especially at night time. My sis introduced me to this all natural, no preservative, no rebound congestion product. (Apparently it's supposed to be great for kids with colds or allergies, but I haven't tried it with a child yet.) And what's even better? In looking for the picture I just found a Canadian coupon for $5 off. Score, 'cause it ain't cheap. But I can breathe!

5. Bar-b-qued cheddar smokies. My mouth waters as I type this and I just had them for supper a few hours ago. I love them. Add fresh buns, chopped tomato & onion, a dash of mustard and there's supper! I don't get tired of them.

Now how did I end up with two food items. Sheesh.

What were your favorites from your week. And they don't have to be food! A favorite moment, feeling, conversation, quote, it can be anything that made you happy and grateful. If you've done a post, sign on to Mr. Linky linking to your specific Fave Five post for today so we can come and visit. Regular Mr. Linky still is unavailable so just click on the Mr. Linky icon and a new page will open where you can sign in as usual and link to others.

I'm so excited to be participating in Friday's Fave Five for the first time this week. Your dog is a cutie - isn't it funny how they like to rest on something hard - our dog does it all the time!

Your pup is adorable.

You've given me some great ideas this week. I'll be buying the Hydrasense for my beloved, the cheddar smokies for our next barbeque and a watermelon! I like it ice-cold too.

Happy weekend Suzanne~

I miss bike riding. My balance is such a mess that I can't quite do it.

I could have done a whole Fave Five on foods this week. :-)

I always love how, on Thursday nights when I'm trying to think of a fave five post, some weeks I don't have anything to start with, but before I'm done I almost always have more than five.

So, you've been bike riding, too! Isn't it a great thing for couples to do? Exercise and a chance to chat away from kids! (Although I didn't get to go this week.)

Don't feel bad that two of your faves were food. I list food A LOT as a fave. Face it, it's part of our lives -- we couldn't live without it!

Great list, Susanne, and I hope you have an awesome weekend.

Food always comes to my mind, too. That's okay--it IS a blessing from God! :-) We all can relate to that.

Wish I had time to do this, but I'm still in "recovery" mode after about three weeks of non-stop activity. Just had to stop by and say "Hi" and I've missed visiting here. Blessings. P.S. Cheddar Smoked what-ies? They sound so good. Where do I find 'em?

My favorite was a week with sun and temp's in the 80's... all week!!!

With the cold and snowy winter we had, it has been such an enjoyable week. Now if I can just find a minute or two to slow down and enjoy even more of it....

Happy Friday!

I'm definitely going to have to check out the HydraSense. No rebound effect sounds great. Oh, and I can't seem to find the Mr. Linky icon today. Must need some coffee.

Hi Susanne,

Does Mr. Linky disappear at a certain time on Fridays? I went back to your blog to see if there were any more participants in Fave Five and I can't find Mr. Linky.

Oh, what a relief it must have been for you to find a product that works so well! And that fluffy bit of fluff? You can share those pics anytime :-) Your bikerides sound fabulous -- a great way to enjoy spring. Happy weekend to you, Susanne!

I'm a dog lover, and you don't know how much this photo of your doggie melts my heart!

My canine is a toy poodle and he looks a lot like yours - color, soft bushy fur, facial expression. His favorite chin resting pad is either my piano pedal or any of my long-heeled shoes, I have to put one on the floor for exactly that purpose :-)

Hugs for man's best friend!
