Typical Monday

Laundry overflowing.

Laundry gathered, sorted and 1st load of 5 chugging away.

Folded laundry from last week sitting on bed waiting to be put away.

Kitchen floor swept.

Five of six kids coming today making a ruckus in the playroom. Waiting on the 6th to arrive.

Cookbooks out, looking for something to make for supper.

Dusting that didn't get done on the weekend still there and waiting. Ugh.

Ginormous stack of flyers and weekend local papers sitting on the kitchen table finally sorted and put in the recycling box this morning.

Craft supplies waiting to make a craft later this morning with the kids.

This book and notepad waiting for a quiet moment so I can get to the chapter for tonight's study. Found out late last night that I'm leading. Feeling just a leeetle bit of pressure. Help, Lord! I can't do this without you!

The big purge and sort taking over the laundry room. Have to finish that SOON!

Blind number 2 of 3 from the bedroom reno sitting in bathtub waiting for it's "bath". I'm still finishing up the cleaning for that so that I can post a suitable picture of the great reno job hubby did.

Apples sitting on counter waiting to be cut for snack.

Dishwasher loaded and running.

Homemade chicken soup simmering on the stove for lunch.

My eliptical looking lonely in the corner. It might stay that way today. Sssshhhh. Don't tell Linda and the 30 x 5 challenge police! They can see if you do your 30 or not, you know! She's got connections with the guy at the North Pole!

Oh, oh, third poopy diaper of the day needs to be changed. NOW!

And it's not even 10 a.m. I think I need a nap!

Let's see - you have your flyers sorted, chicken soup simmering, 5 happy kids making a ruckus,2 diaper changes done, a load of laundry done, supper plans in the making and it's not even 10am???? Not to mention this blog post.

You're doing GREAT! Now I'm sending up a prayer for the kids to all fall asleep at the same time so that you can get that quiet time in.

Well you've got alot more accomplished than I do.Have you looked in the coupon books( smart saver is one) for the free scrubbing bubbles toilet brush? and the free multi surface pledge ? I have salmon thawing in the fridge for tonight..I hope all the kids nap for you.

Ugh - I hear you. I always start my week feeling so far behind. Hope you can fit in a refreshing/relaxing moment or two.

And I thought mondays were my busy day! I don't have a fraction of the amount of work you have to do Susanne. You have my utmost admiration. Just the poopy diapers would do me in!!

I think I need a nap just from reading your list! Good luck getting things done and I know you'll do fine tonight. No doubt about that :)

I feel your pain!

It's just completely never-ending. Sometimes I think...'I just made supper yesterday, I just did a load of laundry, I just unloaded the dishwasher...'

Neverending...

Sounds a bit like around here.....but eliminate the wonderful Chicken soup (you feed those kids well!)

I never heard of that study you are doing....looks like a great book:). You always read great books:).

Hope you have a great week.

And I thought my day was busy!

Of course you need a nap. I'd say you've been "moving" for 30 minutes without actually exercising. Doesn't that count?

Wow what a morning! Laundry is always overwhelming in my book! Sounds like you are quite the multi-tasker. Oh and those never ending poopy diapers.....hope you enjoyed a cup of coffee too.

Wow, what a day already!! Hope yopu got a nap or a bit of quiet time in there some time today.

You're convicting me about my blinds -- I have no idea when they last had a "bath" -- and they need it.

I loved this post Susanne, it's like sitting at the kitchen table with you talking about your day.

That Anonymous comment was me - Serious Whimsey! Ever since my PC was reformatted after that awful virus it had, I've had varying "challenges" getting back to normal functioning. My computer-genius son (and I'm not kidding), put so many safety gizmos on my computer that I've become a bit "blogger-challenged" - until he works out the bugs. Thankfully, he's made it possible for me to leave comments again! :-)
