See these? My favorite apples. I made a promise to myself that this year I was going to make healthier snack choices. And it dawned on me that the reason I didn't eat apples was because I was always buying everyone else's favorites, but never my own. So I splurged and bought a bag. Just for me.
Don't they look mouthwatering?

I figured if I put a bowl of these in the fridge, washed and ready for eating...

And they were right in my face when I opened the fridge door I would be less likely to reach for these instead...

Mmmm, but then again..... Chocolate and apples go really nice together, don't they?

MMM. I have to be just in the right mood for apples, but if they're really crisp and cold, nothing better.

Oooh, just what I was going to say - caramels and apples! Cheese is also a wonderful accompaniment -- how 'bout some camembert?

Yes they do. So does caramel and apples...

Those do look good! But I was wondering if that worked, to put them in the fridge so you'd see them....then I saw your candy! I SO need to get the candy and cookies OUT of my face and house. Maybe if there was only fruit here.....

You know me. I would never ruin a perfectly good apple by adding chocolate to it. :-) Fujis are my favorite too.

I love Fuji apples. They are so sweet, mouthwatering and delicious. I've never tried chocolate and apples together, but peanut butter goes well with apples. Hmmm, how about peanut butter, chocolate and apples; like an apple peanut butter cup.

Apples are also supposed to help you wake up as much as a cup of joe in the mornings. I used to eat one every morning when I worked out of the home.
