Ho, Ho, Ho. Is it Christmas?

For those of you jealous of my grilling day on Sunday where the temperature was 24*C , or 75*F, with beautiful sunshine, where people were coming into church with sunburns, well, if it makes you feel better, this is what I woke up to this morning:

1* C (33*F). Welcome to spring in Southern Alberta. If you don't like the weather, wait a minute. If you do, don't get too used to it. The only place I know of where people will walk around with shorts and winter coats on at the same time.

Updated: Just to show you the size of the flakes coming down, I put a cell phone next to one. That is one solitary flake.

Oh my...now that would totally depress me...I just cannot stand winter weather in April. We came home last year from our beautiful trip to PA, to weather like what you are picturing..of course today I am headed to where there is still 8 inches of snow on the ground in the deep woods...so..our hiking will be closer to the road than orginally planned...but..at least it is sunny and 60!

Oh wow. Our weatherman threatened a spattering of snow showers for yesterday, but fortunately, they never came to pass. I think I'd cry if I looked outside and saw snow right now. Granted, there was a layer of thin ice on my windshield this morning, but now the sun is shining and SUN is exactly what I need.

Hope it passes quickly and warm weather comes to your area soon.

Wow, what a beautiful site and what a snowflake! The only thing is, it's a few months too late, no? I guess if your friends' sunburn hurts too bad, they could go soak it in the snow and make snow angels.

And yes, I do feel a little better, also. :0)
