Bad Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow

37 bad hair days and counting! That's 37 days in a row, girls! Sigh. Since the ole hand incident (here and here if you missed the "excitement"), my hair rountine has basically been reduced to washing with a 2 in 1 shampoo to make it easier and then blow drying with one hand. Period. So wherever and however it lands, well, let's just say that's the style of the day. And I use the term "style" very loosely here!

But in anticipation of the fact that probably after my occupational therapy appointment today I get to shed the cast for most of the awake part of my day, I have made an appointment with a hairdresser. To get some kind of cut that has shape to it. And foil hi-lights. Hi-lights, girls. Done by a real live professional!

Whoo Hoo! I'm a-celebrating.

HAHAHA! That's funny, Susanne! I bet you are beyond yourself with excitement. Professional foiling. Those words are the things dreams are made of.

Of course you know we'll want pictures! Of you, not the black thing -what is that anyway?!

I almost choked when I saw that photo. I swear, where on earth did you find that sweet thing?

Hooray for getting that cast off during the day. And hooray for the professionals. I have an appointment Saturday and the first thing I want to ask her is what on earth happened last time she cut my hair?

Six weeks of miserable hair but hey, the bright side is, I've been so snowed under with my daughter's medical emergencies, I didn't have time to look in a mirror anyway!

Yey! And lol, my hair resembles that when I go out on a misty rainy day, fuzzy!
