Reason #28 "Why I love my Kid"

After this little accident when the middle, solid wood, dresser drawer decided to attack me, I've been hobbling around the house going decidedly slower than I did before. Today my 12 year old, Tee, came out and showed me her foot.

Behold the "sympathy toe". Can you tell who's is who's? If you need a hint, mine is the one that is swollen like a fat sausage.

Done, of course, with nail polish. I don't think she'd sympathize quite enough to drop the drawer on her toe. But it's the thought that counts. Gosh, I love that kid!

Suzanne-

Great sympathy! I just wanted you to know that I just finished reading "Uncharted" by Angela Hunt. I am still thinking about it a day later. Thanks for the review. I must admit that this was not a book I would have read. Possibly life-changing. I should have a review up soon. Stop by...

We just need to know what the color of nail polish is named that your daughter used to paint her sympathy toe.

"OWWWW!!!" would work.

Hope your toe continues to heel.

I mean, heal. :)

I can see who she inherited her feet from. Very sweet daughter. I knew someone would come up with that shade for nail polish! :)

Oh I am missing you so much! This was too funny! Also, you know what is interesting? Your feet are very similar. And I've always heard that those whose second toes are longer than the big Daddy toe are the bosses of the family. Hmmm.
